Respiro reduces emissions in FOUR important ways:
1) Cars are shared by many users: (1/3 of members sell their private car => less cars in the city) 2) By switching to a pay as you go system, users are stimulated to think more rationally about costs. Hence, kms driven by CS members is almost 50% lower than private car owners (traffic reduction, CO2 reduction). Public transport is used more.3) The respiro fleet emits an average of 107g CO2/km compared to a national average of 176g CO2/km4) Respiro is a certified Zero C02 Company. By compensating all CO2 emissions from each car’s production to the last km driven via ECODES, the national reference in calculation and compensation of CO2 emissions.
