Using LED lighting, Pizza Fusion achieved their goal of reducing their carbon footprint and was able to maintain the proper aesthetics of the restaurant. The customer tables were lit with 27 pendant fixtures using Toshiba MR16 Generation 2 Series LED lamps at 6.7 Watts. The bar was lit with 8 Ferrari Red LED pendant fixtures at 5.8 Watts each. Each Recessed Can was lit with a Toshiba PAR38 Generation 2 LED lamp at 20.3 Watts. The lounge area was lit with 3 Pharox 300 A-Type LED lights at 6 Watts each. LED tape lighting at 1.5 Watts per foot lit the various art and sculptures. By installing LED lighting, the estimated annual lighting energy costs are $134. When compared to Incandescent lights, Pizza Fusion would save an estimated $8,645 in lighting energy costs during the life span of the LED fixtures. A total savings, including maintenance costs, are estimated at $14,385.
