It never quite feels like the Christmas and Holiday Season has arrived

until the Village of Restoule holds its annual Santa Claus Parade and

Children’s Christmas Concert.

Well, it all happened on December 11th...So the Season has begun!

As we have seen so many times before, this year’s parade was loaded

with creative ingenuity, massive participation, and an overriding

Christmas spirit!

In fact this writer is certain that a new world record was achieved when

one calculated the total number of participants as a % of the total population of Restoule! (well...I’m pretty sure...yeah...definitely for

sure)

As always, led by the festively decorated Restoule Fire Truck with siren

blaring, the parade got underway from Mill Bay Marina and snaked its

way to the Restoule Legion.

Children’s Christmas Concert and Play Featured Off Broadway Smash Hit!

Following the parade, the children of Restoule put on a very entertaining play entitled “Santa is Missing in Restoule”.

It was about the true meaning of Christmas and a timely reminder to us all. The play was followed with Christmas Carols that

got everyone in the Christmas Spirit.

This was a free flowing event involving a certain amount of improvisation by the stars of the show and it was all well received

by the audience.

A “shout out” goes to Cheryl Gates, The Restoule Lions Club and The Royal Canadian Legion for organizing and funding this

event. Many others volunteered their time. It is all much appreciated by the community.

OFF BROADWAY SMASH HIT!

Following the parade, the children of Restoule put on a very
