Itcontains requirements for training,de-contamination, notification, and emergency assistance. RESISTANCE MANAGEMENTSome insectsareknown todevelop resistance toproductswith thesamechemicalclassusedrepeatedlyforcontrol.AVENGERBOLDS3containsGroup3andGroup4Ainsecticides.Althoughpestresistancecannotbepredicted,ageneralruletoreducetheonsetofresistanceinpestspeciestoAVENGERBOLDS3isnottoconsecutivelyandrepeat-edlyapplyGroup3and/orGroup4Ainsecticidesduringagrowingsea-sonforcontrolofaparticularpesttarget.ConsultyourlocalorstateagriculturalauthoritiesoryourINNVICTISCROPCARE,LLC(Innvictis)representativeformorespecificdetailsoninsectresistancemanage-ment strategies.The Group 4A active ingredient in AVENGER BOLDS3 isamemberof theneonicotinoidchemicalgroup.AvoidusingablockofmorethanthreeconsecutiveapplicationsofAVENGERBOLDS3and/orotherGroup4Aproductshavingthesameorsimilarmodeof action. Following a neonicotinoid block of treatments, Innvictisstronglyencouragestherotationtoablockofapplicationswitheffec-tiveproductsofdifferentmodebeforeusingadditionalapplicationsofneonicotinoidproducts.Usingablockrotationorwindowedapproach,alongwithIPMpractices, isconsideredaneffectiveusestrategyforpreventingordelayinganinsect’sabilitytodevelopresistancetothisclassofchemistry.FoliarapplicationsofAVENGERBOLDS3orotherGroup4Aproducts from theneonicotinoidchemicalclassmustnotbeusedoncropspreviouslytreatedwithalong-residual,soil-appliedproduct from the neonicotinoid chemical class. If resistance to thisproductdevelops in your area, thisproduct,orotherproductswithasimilarmodeofaction,maynotprovideadequatecontrol. Ifpoorperformancecannotbeattributedtoimproperapplicationorextremeweatherconditions,aresistantstrainof insect(s)maybepresent.Ifyouexperiencedifficultywithcontrolandresistance isareasonablecause,immediatelyconsultyourlocaldistributorcompanyrepresenta-tiveoragriculturaladvisorforthebestalternativemethodofcontrolforyourarea.
Application Instructions:Rateofapplication isvariableaccording topestpressure, timingofsprays, andfield scouting.Use lower ratesunder light tomoderateinfestations;use thehigher rateswithin the rate rangeunderheavyinsect pressures. Arid climates generally require higher rates. Useadequate spray volumes, properly calibrated application equip-ment and appropriate spray adjuvant to obtain thorough cover-age. To optimize deposition, penetration, and translocation, useadjuvant at 0.25 - 0.50% v/v. Cultivation within 10 feet of a waterbody isprohibitedtoallowfor thegrowthofavegetatedfilterstrip. In New York State, thisproductmaynotbeappliedwithin100feet(using ground equipment) or 300 feet (using aerial equipment)of coastal marshes or streams that drain into coastal marshes.

California Special Equipment and Restrictions: AVENGERBOLDS3mustbeusedinaclosedsystemthatmeetsthecriteriaforclosedsys-temsasestablishedbytheCaliforniaDepartmentofFoodandAgricul-ture.ThecriteriaandalistoftheclosedsystemsmeetingthecriteriaareavailablethroughtheCaliforniaDepartmentofFoodandAgriculture.
ROTATIONAL CROPSPlantback restrictionsaredeterminedby thecrop.Crops thathavetolerancesforbothbifenthrinandimidaclopridmayberotatedatanytime. Crops with tolerances for bifenthrin and not imidacloprid aretoberotated12monthsfollowingthefinalapplicationofAVENGERBOLD S3 Crops that have tolerances for imidacloprid and not bi-fenthrin are to be rotated 30 days following the final application ofAVENGERBOLDS3.Plant back restrictions:Immediateplantback:Cropsonthislabel,aswellas,tobacco,toma-toes,eggplant,peppersbellandnon-bell,okra,caneberries,citrus,ar-tichoke,lettuce(headandleaf),grapes,spinach,pears,hops,legumevegetables(ediblepodded), tuberousrootandcormvegetables(ex-ceptsugarbeet),cilantroandcoriander,soybeansandstrawberries.30 Day plant back: Cereals,cucurbits,safflower10 Month plant back: Onionandbulbvegetables12 Month plant back:Allothercrops
MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE USE RATERefertotheindividualcropsectionsformaximumallowableAVENGERBOLDS3usage.Themaximumallowableusemustincludeallregis-teredusepatternsincludingat-plant,soilappliedand/orfoliarapplica-tionsforthe12monthsperiod.The12-monthperiodistobeginupontheinitialapplicationtotheacreage.
Tank MixtureAVENGERBOLDS3maybeappliedintankmixtureswithotherprod-uctsapprovedforuseonregisteredcrops.Observeallrestrictionsandprecautionswhich appear on the labels of these products. Test forcompatibilityofproductsbeforemixing.
BUFFER ZONESVegetative Buffer ZonesConstructandmaintainaminimum10-foot-widevegetativefilterstripof grass or other permanent vegetation between the field edge anddowngradientaquatichabitat(suchas,butnotlimitedto,lakes,res-ervoirs,rivers,permanentstreams,marshesornaturalponds,estuar-iesandcommercialfishfarmponds).Onlyapplyproductcontainingbifenthrin onto fields where a maintained vegetative buffer strip ofat least 10 feet exists between the field and down gradient aquatichabitat.Forguidance, refer to the followingpublication for informa-

Additional Requirements for Aerial ApplicationsThe spray boom should bemounted on the aircraft as tominimizedriftcausedbywingtiporrotorvortices.Theminimumpracticalboomlength shouldbeusedandmustnot exceed75%of thewingspanor80%rotordiameter.Flightspeedandnozzleorientationmustbeconsideredindeterminingdropletsize.Spraymustbereleasedatthelowest height consistentwith pest control and flight safety.Do notreleasesprayataheightgreaterthan10feetabovethecropcanopyunlessagreaterheight isrequiredforaircraftsafety.Whenapplica-tionsaremadewithacross-wind,theswathwillbedisplaceddown-wind. The applicatormust compensate for this displacement at thedownwindedgeof the applicationareaby adjusting thepathof theaircraftupwind.
CHEMIGATION USE DIRECTIONSApplythisproductonlythroughsprinklerincludingcenterpivot,lateralmove,endtow,side(wheel)roll,traveler,biggun,solidset,orhandmoveirrigationsystems.Donotapplythisproductthroughanyothertypeofirrigationsystem.Donotconnectanirrigationsystem(includ-ing greenhouse systems) used for pesticide application to a publicwatersystem.
ForLEPAirrigation,aminimumof0.75inchofwaterperacreisrec-ommended.Wherenon-emulsifiedoilsareusedasthediluent,1to2pintsperacreisrecommended.
Results from utilizing chemigation have been variable and dependuponthesetupandcalibrationofequipment.Cropinjury,lackofef-fectiveness,orillegalresiduesinthecropcanresultfromnon-uniformdistributionoftreatedwater.ContactyourStateAgriculturalExtensionServicespecialists,equipmentmanufacturersorotherexpertsforcon-sultationonthesuitabilityoftheequipmentsetuptoobtaineffectivecontrolofthetargetinsect-pests. Apersonknowledgeableofthechemigationsystemandresponsibleforitsoperation,orunderthesupervisionoftheresponsibleperson,shallshutthesystemdownandmakenecessaryadjustmentsshouldtheneedarise.Failuretoceaseapplicationduringamechanicalstop-pagemayresultinundesirableresiduestoadjacentareas.
Thesystemmustcontainafunctionalcheckvalve,vacuumreliefvalve,andlowpressuredrainappropriatelylocatedontheirrigationpipelinetopreventwatersourcecontaminationfrombackflow.
Thepesticideinjectionpipelinemustcontainafunctional,automatic,
quick-closingcheckvalvetopreventtheflowoffluidbacktowardtheinjectionpump.Thepesticide injectionpipelinemust alsocontain afunctional,normallyclosed,solenoid-operatedvalvelocatedonthein-takesideoftheinjectionpumpandconnectedtothesysteminterlocktopreventfluidfrombeingwithdrawnfromthesupplytankwhentheirrigationsystemiseitherautomaticallyormanuallyshutdown.
The system must contain functional interlocking controls to auto-maticallyshutoffthepesticideinjectionpumpwhenthewaterpumpmotorstops.Theirrigationlineorwaterpumpmustincludeafunc-tional pressure switchwhichwill stop thewaterpumpmotorwhenthewaterpressuredecreasestothepointwherepesticidedistributionisadverselyaffected.Systemsmustuseameteringpump,suchasapositivedisplacement injectionpump(e.g.,diaphragmpump)effec-tivelydesignedandconstructedofmaterialsthatarecompatiblewithpesticidesandcapableofbeingfittedwithasysteminterlock.Donotapplywhenwindspeedfavorsdriftbeyondtheareaintendedfortreatment.AVENGERBOLDS3shouldbeappliedcontinuouslyforthedurationofthewaterapplication.AVENGERBOLDS3shouldbediluted in sufficient volume to ensure accurate application over theareatobetreated.Whenusingchemigation,aminimumof0.5inchper acre of irrigation water is recommended. Agitation generally isnotrequiredwhenasuitablediluentisused.Adiluenttestshouldbeconductedtoensurethatphaseseparationwillnotoccurduringdilu-tionandapplication.Failuretoachieveauniformdilutionthroughoutthetimeofapplicationmayresultinundesirableresiduesorlessthandesirablecontrol.
