Results

Aim of the study A specific quality of life questionnaire can identify specific aspects that can be improved for the hypertensive

patients in order to have a better life. The aim of the study is to create and validate a new and specific questionnaire to evaluate the hypertensive

patients. Material and Method

It is a prospective, observational and non-interventional study on hypertensive patients whose specific new questionnaire responses are compared with those of the healthy adults.

The questionnaire provide a complete view of the factors that influence patients response tothe hypertensive treatment. The analyse of these factors can improve the results of the therapy and also their quality of life. Validation tests were within the accepted values in theliterature, therefore the questionnaire can be used on population scale in clinical practice, butalso in research.

Conclusion

By 7 days readministration of the questionnaire, for the study patients, resulted in no significant differences between the results. The kappa coefficient which validates the “test-retest” method for all domains of the questionnaire shows above 0.75 values. The Cronbach alpha coefficient which assesses internal confidence of the survey reached a value of 0.675 .
