Hearing from a professional with your reputation in the area is an important step for me to understand what it takes to grow in the profession and take the next step in my career. As for myself I have a four-year degree in Landscape Architecture from West Virginia University and I have two years of experience working in this industry. As a manager for a high end residential landscaping company, I was responsible for helping oversee most aspects of the business including project planning and preparation, estimating, installation and communication with clients. I was also involved in working with new home builders, selecting plants from nurseries, operating machinery and playground equipment installation. Currently I am seeking new employment in the field of Landscape Architecture as I am ready to take the next step in the profession and use more of the skills I acquired during school. Some of my interests include natural systems design, sustainable living, adaptive reuse and helping improve the quality of life for people in the community. Being a highly motivated and hardworking individual, I am excited for the opportunity to work with a company on quality client projects. It would be a privilege to meet with you and your team and gain this valuable experience. I am eager to meet with you or someone in your office to further our connection and learn more about your company. I have a flexible schedule and am available at your convenience by phone or in person. Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Parker D. Schankweiler
