Work History:

General Electric (Building 66) Schenectady, NY

-April 16th 2016 – Present (Sourcing Initiatives Specialist)

As a Sourcing Initiatives Specialist, my role is to coordinate with project managers and sourcing. As projects are released it is my goal to create the material in ERP and get it active and released for purchase. After this is complete I have too track and present lead times on arrival. If there is any change or conflict it is my responsibility to reach out and get answers to make sure that inventory is on track. During this process, I am also verifying transactions and inventory management.

-January 5 2015 – April 16th 2016 (Material Resource Planner)

As a Planner my role is to ensure the plant has inventory at all times using Oracle. This includes running full reports of everything on site as well as any material on order. I have to watch for any quality issues to make sure that we can get material in as replacement without causing any downtime in production. I’m also watching for any odd transactions in Oracle to make sure inventory count is accurate.

-April 14th 2014 – January 5th 2015 (Test Technician)

As a Test Technician my role it so keep the area I’m in operational. This includes the analysis of data to ensure all that have completed testing passed. In case of any failure I would have to create an NCM and contact the quality team to validate and discuss course of action. I would also be looking for any improvements that made the process easier and safer for the employee. Including updated electrical PPE and making sure any test equipment was not unsafe.

-September 26th 2011 – April 14th 2014 (Operator B Welder)

As an Operator B Welder I was responsible for any production welding needed. I also was cross trained in the area for other operations outside of the welding process. This allowed me to be very flexible and understand the complete process of the department I was in.

My responsibilities are to take any merchandise that are facility receives and verifythat it is the correct product and send it back to the vendors. This is all Wal-Mart returneditems and my goal is to try and get Wal-Mart back as much credit as possible. I am notrequired to just work in one department but where ever I am needed. So there I amalways learning new things and having to keep track of what is going on. I have to keepin touch with supervisors and other co-workers in order to get the job done due to the factof how much team work is needed.

My responsibilities were to assemble, machine and weld any merchandise thatwas required to be done at any given time period. The orders were given to me by meansof blueprint and a quality check sheet. I was also responsible for calling in and loadingthe trucks when the orders were complete and ready to be shipped. This led to me havingto fill out paper work for the trucking company, customers and our company. If there wasany special order that had to be done quick and accurate the foreman would come to mefor the job. During the increase production season I was entitled to help train newemployees.

Taylor Made Awnings Gloversville, NY

-August 15th 2007 - July 9th 2008

My responsibilities were to assemble awnings by means of cutting and sewing thefabric, helping make the frame, and attaching the fabric to the frame. I was alsoresponsible for installing and maintenance of all awnings on the field. This required me todrive the company truck to many job sites and sometimes many overnight jobs. Thisincluded very dangerous situations at times which usually involved heights.

Travers Diner Gloversville, NY-May 8th 2005 - July 2nd 2007

I was hired on as a dishwasher and over time worked my way to SUE Chef. Myresponsibilities increased as I moved up but my responsibilities consisted of thefollowing. I was in charge of being in the restaurant two hours before opening to start andprepare any morning specials. Prepare the cook station with everything that was required.After this was completed I started any lunch specials while making sure everything wasfull. Then after the lunch hours passed I had to prepare diner specials. In between all ofthis I needed to make sure the dishwashers were keeping up, cooks were set and notfalling behind and keeping everything clean and organized. It was near impossible for meto have any time off considering that this needed to be done every day. If I was to takeany time off they needed to call in another chef from the other restaurant associated with ours.
