QA/IT Project Manager
Responsible for project management and maintenance of quality validated applications on the Vision Care Integrated
Business Enterprise System (VIBES). Maintained and supported quality applications developed in VIBES
including: Nonconformance, Investigation, and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA), Complaint Handling
System (CHS), Global Change Control (GCC), Global Application Change Control (GACC), Global Regulatory
Affairs Tracking System (GRATS), and SAP Change Management (ERP change control). Worked with business
groups to gather detailed requirements to design, implement, maintain, and enhance VIBES applications. Utilized
agile development techniques to demonstrate and refine requirements with business partners in sandbox
environment. Utilized in-depth database understanding of EtQ Reliance table usage and relationships to introduce
new application functionality, resolve issues, and work with Cognos team to build/enhance business reports.
Applied EtQ Reliance Engine (configuration) and Designer changes to validated development, QA, and production
environments (via direct and promoted changes). These changes are managed through the VIBES Change Control
(VCC) application. Additionally, maintained VIBES application documents as “living” documents - which are
continually revised to reflect the current (production) system configurations of all validated quality applications
(within VIBES).
Implemented and maintained the Global Change Control (GCC) application - a company-wide manufacturing change
control system utilized for changes to validated manufacturing lines, computer systems, and product cartoners at
global manufacturing facilities. Applied 2-3 major application revisions per year - to integrate user-requested
feedback and business requirement changes. Responsible for global alignment of system changes to the application.
Implemented EtQ Reliance Electronic Validation (eValidator) application to allow for the automated execution of
validation test scripts for VIBES applications.
Created and managed the Global Regulatory Affairs Tracking System (GRATS) to track regulatory affairs requests
and communication between country affiliates representatives and the Global Regulatory Affairs group.
Created and implemented the Global Application Change Control (GACC) application - a company-wide software
application change control system for GxP (validated) and non-GxP (non-validated) application changes - utilized
globally for manufacturing, distribution, quality, and reporting application change control.

Managed modifications to the nonconformance, investigation, and CAPA applications. Added functionality to
nonconformance application for automatic creation of calibration nonconformance events - via interface with
validated company calibration system. Continued to make updates to the nonconformance application until full
transition to alternate (EtQ Instinct) nonconformance application.
Maintained interfaces for CHS, GCC, and Nonconformance applications (via Unix script maintenance and
execution).
VIBES applications were developed and maintained using EtQ (Excellence through Quality) Reliance system (4GL).
Managed EtQ and internal consultants on VIBES application development, upgrade and maintenance activities.
Continued to receive EtQ Reliance expert-level user training at user conferences.

logistics tables - to manipulate data for product conversions and extract data for report generation. Designed and
implemented system to generate recommended shipment files and palletized EDI formatted orders for global
affiliates - eliminating the need to key these orders manually by international customer service. Implemented
conversion from UPC to alternate product identification system (product id/master product id) for global logistics
decision support system. Designed and implemented systems to convert on-hand, in-transit, and sales history files to
