PROJECT DETAILS
TITLE: SWIRL FORMATION DESIGN AT INLET MANIFOLD
Duration : 6 months Description : The project is mainly concerned on the improvement of engine
efficiency, by the modification of inlet manifold design from narrow one to swirled one. We know that flame speed is quite low in non-turbulent mixtures and when turbulence increases the flame speed will also increases. Turbulence is consists of many minute swirl appears to increases the rate of reaction and produce a higher flame speed. Normally we modify the piston crown and geometry of cylinder to increases the turbulence. Our designed inlet manifold makes a turbulence of air fuel mixture inside the manifold itself.so we obtain more turbulence and probably more flame speed and improved engine efficiency.
Responsibilities : Project Design (Tool Used: CREO)
TITLE: DESIGN AND ANALYSIS OF TRUCK CHASSIS FRAME
Duration : 3 months
Description : To implement the carbon fiber material in Automotive truck frame which has high young's modulus and good mechanical properties then other common frame material and also lesser weight which make automotive frame more efficient. The carbon fiber frame has more advantage over the steel and aluminium.so in future trucks we expect carbon fiber frame trucks on the road.
Responsibilities : Project Design (Tool Used :CREO and ANSYS)
