MMC GAMUDA Joint Venture Sdn Bhd is a joint venture company between two Malaysia largest engineering construction groups. MMC GAMUDA’s sterling track record in managing large-scale projects on time coupled with its ability in engineering innovation is the government’s assurance in the success of the MRT project. MMC GAMUDA has the project management skills, tunneling expertise and engineering knowledge of having completed the storm water Management and Road Tunnel (SMART) and the Electrified Double Track Project (EDTP). MMC Corporation Bhd and GAMUDA Bhd are among Malaysia’s largest infrastructure companies having built highways, ports, airports, bridges, townships and railway lines locally and abroad. The joint venture of MMC Corporation Bhd and GAMUDA Bhd form a successful partnership having effectively undertaken SMART, the world’s first dual purpose flood diversion and double deck motorway tunnel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In other words, the management of the Prison Department cannot choose our customers and do not have the power to release them. Prisoners / detainees / residents must live in accordance with the regulations and their movements are very controlled. The concept of the present prison affair, prison is a place where prisoners are held, controlled and undergoing rehabilitation activities until their release date. Society must realize that the philosophy of the prison affair is a measure of the civilization of a society of a country life. Prisons Department of Malaysia is the last institution in the implementation of the "Criminal Justice System", and responsible to the Ministry of Internal Security. Malaysian Prisons Department to serve the community by holding those sentenced by the court. Prison Department's task is to control them with a feeling of humanity and help them lead useful and law-abiding while in custody and after release.
