Synopsis:

MAGMA CORE APPLICATION is a Loan Management system project, basically the application deals to provide loan to people all over India. Project Designed & Developed by Oracle Financial Services Software Limited, in which three modules viz- Sales, Credit & Operations, Insurance are deployed in Phase 1. It has developed to facilitate to reduce the efforts needed for Financial Aspect of Magma.

Challenges/Learning:

● Understanding the functional specification of the Application.● Worked on Sales and Credit Ops Module.● Attended client meetings with BA for requirement gathering.● Developing and Executing Test Cases for unit level.

B. URL Categorizer

Synopsis:URL categorizer, categorizes given URL/ Sub URL/ Domain/ Sub Domain into predefined set of categories using data feed or by using technique like machine learning. Any URL accessed by user on the client end should be categorized as per its features. Depending on the category returned by the web service, access to the URL would be allowed or rejected.

Challenges/Learning:URL Categorizer, categorize and returns category within a fraction of second i.e., effect is real - time and it is capable of handling more than 50,000 requests per second. Testing this scalable performance is one of the challenges which are accomplished by using JMeter tool in cluster mode. MySQL replication and Failover – Failback are crucial functionalities in URL Categorizer. Identifying test scenarios for these functionalities was one of the challenges. Cache refresh module which entirely depends on the timing scenarios was a great dispute to QA team. QA team successfully handled this challenge by reporting most number of critical defects in this module.

Synopsis:MBOX is a file type of mail which is mostly used on linux machines.In this project we have to automate some processes which are copying the data , decrypt the data copied , convert into PSTs and migrated that data to specified location.

Challenges/Learning:● Used AUTOIT tool which automat windows application.● Prepared Automation Environment.● Created script for converter tool which work with command line arguments.● Created script for deleting outlook profiles from control panel.● Examine Result of automation and prepare report.

D. UI Automation

Synopsis:The application is basically a Research cum development system in which the client can apply their business and can keep track of their development processes.On Automation Part I have to generate excel and CSV file with large number of data with unique numbers and upload on server.And send HTTP Request with different users simultaneously and check the behaviour of the system and also verifies the output in MongoDB.


Challenges/Learning:● Prepared Excel Reader Class which is used to read data from Excel file.● Prepared script to connect Mongodb which verifies the output after sending every

request.● Prepared script to send HTTP Request with payload and save response from the

server.● Prepared HTML Report for test Output.● Prepared script to generate Excel and CSV file with appropriate data.● Generated payload with Json Request.● Prepared automation script for API testing.
