ACADEMIC PROJECTS S

Automated control system in vehicles for pollution detection and monitoring. Description : The vehicle exhausts contains high concentrations of CO2,CO,methane and

some other gases. We developed a project for pollution monitoring which can continuously

sense the CO2,CO levels of vehicles exhaust and compares it with a standard PPM levels of

CO2,CO given as per as the government norms. If exhaust gases increased the given level a

message including vehicle Reg no, owner name, address of owner are sent to the concerned

authority through the GSM module deployed in the system.

Intelligent Traffic signal for Prioritized purpose vehicles using Acoustic Sensor

Networks. Description: In this project we have proposed an idea to pass Emergency vehicles at busy

traffic signals without any waiting time by deploying acoustic sound sensors on the sides of

the lanes, which can detect the sound beyond a threshold level and triggers the

microcontroller to turn on green signal to that lane

.

Underwent in-plant training at BHARAT ELECTRONICS LIMITED (BEL).

ACHIEVEMENTS S

Achieved 1st prize for poster presentation in a national conference-NC’e-TIDES.

Our paper entitled “Intelligent Traffic signal for Prioritized purpose vehicles using Wireless

Sensor Networking” has selected as a best paper in NC’e-TIDES and promoted to publish in

reputed journals.

Secured 2nd prize for a Paper Presentation in a national technical symposium.
