Update on Tibco Hub

The Network Operators gave a presentation covering the Tibco Hub/EMMA workplan via a slidepack ‘Retail Market Messaging Update’.

Data Archiving progressing well & being monitored on a daily basis. Work is commencing on the End to End Market Reconciliation

solution. Interim Contingency solution expected to be in place by 30th June Performance Improvement items - Tibco were hired to carry out an

Independent Audit and are expected to arrive on site in July. This may take longer to complete than originally expected.

Capita are carrying out Design Analysis of known issues and Network Operators are expecting a scope of work by 5th July and the start of some build work.

Work is on-going to develop a Proof of Concept for the BC Upgrade to plan and prepare for next year.

Supplier Resources required currently for Data Archiving and towards the end of November for the technical delivery of the EMMA Software upgrade

S mac an Bhaird asked if there was any further information on resource requirements for Suppliers as this had also been discussed at the ReMCoSG on 6th June. F Hannon said she would follow-up with Suppliers to see if further information is needed. P Mallon advised that they do need to give more detail on the cutover in December. The Proof of Concept for the BC Upgrade will help give more detail on supplier resource requirements around April/May 2014 as there will be more supplier involvement needed at that time. The requirement for further information on resources is an open action at the ReMCoWG but the meeting also agreed it was important to raise a similar action at the ReMCoSG.

Review of ReMCoSG Actions

It was agreed at the Extraordinary ReMCoSG that the Network Operators should proceed with sourcing availability and cost of a Quality & Standards Manager. P Mallon advised that this is work in progress. The Regulators need to agree the need for this position and determine cost recovery arrangements.

BC Archiving is complete for the Central Hub and a schedule is in place for weekly archival. Backlog archival is in progress for BW. Data Archiving is progressing well and is being monitored on a daily basis Feedback from some smaller suppliers has highlighted that they feel there is no need for them to archive with low volumes. The Network Operators do not agree with this and it needs to be pursued. The target for completion is the end of June however it will overrun by a few weeks. S mac an Bhaird advised that the agreed action was that the Network Operators were to provide a status update and there would be a Joint Regulatory follow-up once that was received.

Market Message Reconciliation Process

Reconciliation is performed each morning between SAP ISU (ESBN & NIE) and the TIBCO BusinessConnect (BC) database

1. Jobs run on ESBN & NIE SAP ISU each morning at 07.30am to produce CSV files containing total messages per message type per Supplier from 03:00am on the previous day to 02.59.59am on the current day.

2. Jobs run on the TIBCO database and reports are generated to highlight discrepancies between SAP isu and TIBCO

3. ESBN review to determine source of failures e.g. SAP pi or schema validation. Capita complete same for NIE

4. Job runs each morning on TIBCO hub to create 602 reports for messages sent and received between 03:00 and 02:59.

5. Suppliers use the 602 message to reconcile against internal systems. Capita should be advised of any discrepancies.

The upgrade to the CMS (to SAP ERP6) included new functionality which validates the format of email addresses. Currently there is no validation on email address formats. MPs will need to adhere to the new email address format. If the validations fail, the inbound message will be rejected with associated rejection message and code EMA.
