Stationary and office
Permapack provides supermarkets and stationary
wholesalers with everything they need, from self-
adhesive labels for schoolbooks, parcels, printers and
frozen products to adhesive tape for the offi ce, crafts
and packaging. Of course, we also offer the matching
dispensers. Another specialty is our extremely tough
and caster-resistant fl oor protection mats, which protect
fl oor surfaces against wear and minimize annoying noise.

customer’s customer', we produced an initial stocking
suggestion for our client. We also showed it solutions
for mastering the logistical challenges and care and
maintenance measures for the shelves. The ability to get
everything you need from a single source is the best
solution when launching a brand in an unfamiliar market
environment.
Added value for the customer.Our shelf system was ready just in time for the opening
of the chain’s new branch in Switzerland. It was a great
success. The store, the end users and, above all, our
client were delighted with the product presentation. This
resulted in a great deal of praise and new orders, and we
were brought in to fi t out further branches shortly after-
wards. Since then merchandising activities are helping to
keep sales at constantly high levels.
The customer’s challenge. A major building chemicals company, based in northern
Germany, had been producing high quality products in the
Do-it sector for more than 35 years. As part of its growth
strategy, the company planned to expand into the Swiss
market with its product range. To do this, the company
searched intensively for a reliable partner that could build
the brand in this highly competitive market and present it in
DIY stores.
The solution.We took the initiative and immediately established personal
contact with one of the largest DIY chains in Switzerland.
The chain’s purchaser was impressed by the brand and
its range of products. We were tasked with producing
and presenting a test shelf. We completed this task in
close collaboration with the client. The presentation was
so successful that the company management decided to
start listing the brand and set up the sales shelves in

A bottleneck in the timber market resulted in huge price increases for FSC® C021649-certifi ed wood.
The solution.Through a combination of high fl exibility and an under-
standing of the customer’s needs, we were able to fi nd
a solution that worked, even in such a diffi cult situation.
Following intensive research, we submitted a new offer.
Although the price was still higher than planned, we
provided persuasive arguments and excellent value for
money.
Added value for the customer.In the end, everyone came out on top. The sales promo-
tion went ahead and resulted in excellent sales, despite
the higher retail price. The customer was also relieved
that it no longer had to devote precious time to looking
for an alternative – a real win-win scenario.
As a result of this episode, the customer realized how
much we care about its needs, how we want to fi nd the
right solution and how we will continue to support it in
future by providing attractive customer offers.
The customer’s challenge. We had provided one of Switzerland’s leading home
improvement chains with an offer for a premium wood
product. The customer was just about to start a sales
promotion for the product when a bottleneck suddenly
arose in the raw materials market. The result of this was
a massive price increase for the FSC® C021649-certifi ed
wood that is mandatory for this product. This meant that
our customer would have had to purchase this product
from us at a much higher price and sell it at a higher price
in its stores. Naturally, it wanted to avoid this. We had to
fi nd a solution in order that our customer could still sell
a pre mium product that met the strict Swiss standards,
despite the higher price.
