About Who? Wow!! Come one – come all – come see and come hear about the One who died on the cross for you and me so those who love Him will forever live with Him. Easter is all about the One whose love endures forever. The One whose heart is filled with love and passion for you and me. The One who is all knowing, all seeing, and all powerful. The One who suffered, bled and died to set us free from our sins. Do you know the One? His name is Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord, the lover of our soul, the One who rose from the grave and is alive now and forever will be. You are invited to travel back in time with us to Jerusalem on Thursday April 17 and Friday April 18, 2014 at 6:30 P.M. as the CrossRoads Christian Church located at 3613 N. Vermilion Street in Danville, Illinois presents for the fourth year “The Passion Play” written and directed by Julia Reynolds, a member of CrossRoads Christian Church. Admission is free. The play portrays 9 scenes taken from the Book of John, Chapters 13, 18, 19, and 20. Refresh your memory by reading these chapters before attending the play and be prepared to see and feel it all come alive before you with over 30 cast members of CrossRoads dressed in costumes, designed sets enhanced with lighting, and sound effects. Throughout the play there will be music by the CrossRoads Choir, directed by Ellen Howie and accompanied by Nancy Goodner and Ken Smith. Come with us to the Last Supper, the Garden of Gethsemane, the Betrayal, Jesus Before Caiaphas, Peter's Denial of Jesus, Jesus Before Pilate, the Crucifixion, Mary at the Cross, and the Resurrection. You will experience hearing the nails being pounded through the flesh of Jesus' hands and feet into the wooden cross that His body was hung upon for all to see. There also will be a time to share and partake of the Lord's Supper (Communion) in unity with our brothers and sisters in Christ. You will experience the heart filled anguish of Mary the mother of Jesus, when her son Jesus was crucified on the cross. As her thoughts and pain are drawn down into the depths of your heart, you may ask yourself: What if that was my son? How would I feel? Would I be obedient to God as Mary was? Come and feel the excitement, overwhelming joy, and praise as we watch and hear the powerful, triumphant resurrection of Jesus Christ and hear proclaimed: He's alive! He's alive! Our Lord and Savior has risen – He's Alive! Have you heard about Jesus? Do you know Him? Do you want to know Him? If you've never heard about Jesus or just want to fall more in love with Him, please come and let Him show you how deeply He loves you and me. Come and rejoice in His love. Jesus loves us, this I know, for the Bible tells us so: John 3:16-17 & Romans 5:6-8. Won't you come and see that Easter is all about Jesus and the depth of His unfailing love for you and me? Wow! How great Thou art! For You alone O God are worthy of praise, honor, and glory. "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty who was, and is, and is to come!" - Revelations 4:8b Come one and all. Rebuilding lives and restoring dignity to our community through Jesus Christ. Honoring God by providing clothing to those who are in need of clothing. Offering glory and praise to God for the ability to serve Him through the clothing ministry. Bringing the message of hope to those who believe all hope is gone. Restoring and filling up the empty places with the love of Jesus Christ. Listening with a loving heart and generous spirit to all people, no matter the circumstances.

Jason Crabb is coming back again this year to do the Homes for Haiti Concert at Danville High School's Dick Van Dyke Auditorium. Tickets are available at www.itickets.com and 5 Loaves & 2 Fish Book Cottage.

Tickets are $15 in advance/$17 at the door with groups of 10 or more and students with their student ID able to purchase tickets for $10.

All proceeds from this concert will be sent to Haiti in an attempt to continue helping them get back on their feet, specifically with housing development.

An event for families to learn more about Hanging Rock Christian Camp, plus enjoy the activities that are being planned:

1. Tents in the Chapel, around a "campfire" - please bring sleeping bags.2. "Star Gazing!"3. Miniature Golf4. Scavenger Hunt based on the history of Hanging Rock.5. Hobo Meals!

JFMC began in August 2009. Our very first clothing appointment was February 6, 2010. She was a young woman with 3 children. As we folded her clothes and placed them in bags, we noticed tears in her eyes and asked her what was wrong and she said, "My kids will be so excited, they usually get new clothes that have rips and stains, but this is like shopping at Elder-Beerman. Thank you for treating me with dignity." Her words echoed the Mission Statement God gave us, to rebuild lives and restore dignity to our community through Jesus Christ.

JFMC receives like new clothing on Tuesdays & Thursdays between 4 - 6 p.m. Thank you for the opportunity to tell you about our ministry.

Please keep us in mind when thinking of plugging-in, cleaning out your closet, helping with a financial need and most of all, when you kneel in prayer.
