The Settings menu requires a password to enter, and includes time/date settings, system preferences,

menu uploading and more. The default password is admin.

Adjust Date and Time This screen is used to adjust the current date and time and change the formats displayed on the Main Screen. NOTE! This screen ONLY changes the date and time of the Terminal. This screen does NOT change the for-mat of printed labels.

Set Display Preferences This screen controls the settings for the touch screen display. Use it to adjust brightness to fit where your Terminal is situated, set screen saver information, and alter the label button size. A label button size of 100 displays 20 Items at a time. A label button size of 125% displays 12 items at a time. You calibrate the touch screen from this screen, or by touching the touch screen during power up.

Save/Load/Update/Backup This screen is used to backup current menus, load new ones, as well as update your AccuDateTM 9700. Save and Load Data File are used to change your label data (MenuData.xml) files, and the Update and Backup System buttons do the same for system configuration. Enter User ID

When selecting an item to print most printer setups require a user ID – this

ID is printed on some label types. Each unit auto logs off a user after a set

period of time.

Print Left / Print Right These buttons print labels using the two print devices included in your AccuDateTM 9700 printer. Your printer should be configured for what best serves your business needs – you can print a dissolvable label on one side, and a freezer label on the other, or even print different sizes on each side.

In some configurations, your print button will have a

small PREVIEW button above it. In these configurations,

clicking the print preview button updates the label pre-

view to display what the print button will print

In some configurations, one of the print buttons is labeled PRINT AND EXIT This configuration prints and returns the user to the main screen, ready to move on or select another label for printing.

Feed Left/ Feed Right These are the feed left and feed right buttons – use them to re-align the left or right side labels when needed.

Reprint

The reprint function allows you to reprint a label previously

printed as long as you know the date and time of the

original. It is often used when needing to replace a label

that has been torn or will be washed away – simply enter

the original print time and date and press OK.

Modify

The modify menu is typically only open to those with

manager credentials – this menu allows for direct

modification of menu items, including print message,

discard/expire time, etc. Once your item has been updated,

SAVE will save the changes permanently.

Help

Pressing the help button brings up the help topics

menu – select this to see instructions on how to load a

new label roll, or how to change the printer mecha-

nism. This is also the location of the LOG OUT button,

for users and for managers. The SEARCH button is also

available to search for specific words in your items. Se-

lecting search prompts you to enter text. The system

will only display items containing the entered text.

HOME cancels the search
