Signing money is first determined by the type of money being signed about.

•Cents only amounts

•Dollar only amounts OR

•Mixed figures including both dollars and cents

Cents

First, touch your forehead with your index finger followed by a number.

The number formed because a CENT sign.

This is an example of a combined sign where the sign for cent is incorporated into the amount (CENT-1)OR you can sign the number first followed by touching your “money spot”

$1-$9; Twist dollars into cents (no dollar sign) $3.75 = $3.00 > 75

$10 and up; sign the number, then sign DOLLAR, then sign the number of cents (sign CENTS for clarity only)
