Warriors of the Rainbow is the first novel by Andrea Hirata publisher by Bentang Pustaka in 2005 .This novel tells about the lives of 10 children from poor families who attend school (elementary and junior high) in Muhammadiyah school on the island Belitong.

They go to school and lear at same grade from grade 1 to grade 3 junior, and refer to themselves as warrios of the rainbow.

In later sections of the story, members of warriors of the Rainbow is incremented by one daugher name Flo, a transfer students.Limitations that exist not make them motivated to able to something better.

Warrios of the Rainbow is firs book tetralogy warrios the rainbow by Hirata.The text book is The Dreamer, Edensor and Maryamah karpov. Script Warriors of the rainbow has been adapted into movie titled the same as original novel. Warriors of the rainbow will be produced by Miles and Mizan film productions and directed by Rini Riza
