Dear Recruiters,
Greetings from the RGNUL family!
It gives me immense pleasure to introduce to you the outgoing Batch of 2018. This will be the Eighth Batch to graduate from the University. I am glad that this group of highly motivated and hardworking students is now about to join the legal fraternity. They have, over the course of five gruelling years, learned to cope up with the challenges of a legal profession.
All the students are admitted through CLAT from all over the country. The rigorous selection procedure at the University ensures a high calibre of students join the institution. They are groomed and their skills refined in a holistic manner. Over the past 4 years, I have observed them in numerous extra-curricular activities, excelling in most of them especially with an apt attitude of never shirking away from challenges and responsibility. At the same time, this batch has performed exceptionally well academically as well, while maintaining a healthy enthusiasm for honing their legal skills through activities such as Researching, Mooting etc.
At RGNUL, our students receive a comprehensive education, preparing them for viewing the world in an inter-disciplinary manner, endowing them with analytical skills to critically evaluate laws and function with a high ability to perform under pressure. At the same time our University instils a deep sense of acknowledgment and awareness of the society and surrounding circumstances in which the laws operate substantiating the skills of all students in addressing complex issues.
The diverse interests of the students is reflected through their varied internship experiences, which include experiences at the top Law Firms, Senior Litigators and the higher Judiciary, Multi National Corporations and Public Sector Undertakings, Research Organisations and the Non-Governmental Organisations. This experience has given them an invaluable exposure to enter into the most competitive professional world.
I take this opportunity to invite you to the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab, Patiala to interact with the students of the Batch of 2018. I am confident they shall positively contribute to the growth of not just the Organisation they join but also the legal profession as well.
