Oil

Oil & Gas Industry:

Our client is one of the world leaders in flow meter products, who provide metering solutions for oil and gas industries.

We re-engineered the clients Mass flow meter products whilst giving a 50% reduction in the cost of the device due to cost-effective design and

component selection. Compact design reduced the enclosure and manufacturing cost. Recurring costs were eliminated as a result of

introduction of the open source operating system and the zero maintenance cost of the device.

Automotive Industry:

Our client is a market leader in design and manufacture of collision repair equipment since its 1972.

They have been producing laser vehicle measuring systems since 1990 and patent protection on the current technology will soon end. We have

designed a new patented & highly accurate, complete vehicle scanning system. The current system provides an accurate dimensional measurement of the passenger compartment and is the world’s only system to efficiently

and accurately measure the vehicle’s upper structure.

Security and Access Control Systems: Our client is a leading manufacturer of access control systems & security

systems. They wanted to re-engineer their existing access control system to improve the overall security features compared to the existing system.

We re-designed the system using 32-bit ARM microcontroller with the Open Source Linux RTOS. The system had improved security incorporating a

fingerprint sensor, camera, RFID and password.

Utilities and Infrastructure:

Our client is a leading provider of professional electric power tool equipments. Founded in 1924, they market a broad range of world-class

power tools and batteries. They wanted to design a warranty management system, whereby the manufactures can evaluate their product’s warranty period.

We conceptualised the requirement considering the cost and the

environment where the products would be used and proposed an end to end solution. We produced an innovative embedded based handheld unit which interfaced to the existing system and the handheld reads the

complete information about the product activation date with status (health report) of all the peripherals.
