Richard Michael Cuellar

Richard Michael Cuellar, age 49, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017 at his home in Casper, WY. Richard was born in McCook to Richard and Elizabeth (Glock) Cuellar on January 30, 1968. He graduated from McCook High School in 1986 and then served in the military; after he served in the US Navy he went on to receive his RN at the University Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in 1995. Richard enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his niece, Caitlyn and nephew, Dylan. He was an Eagle Scout and attended St. Patrick’s School where he was a member of the Squires and McCook American Legion Baseball. Richard is survived by his father, Richard Cuellar of Nehalem, OR; mother, Elizabeth Cuellar of McCook; sister, Mary Lyne and husband Greg of Alma and their two children, Caitlyn and Dylan; aunts, Juanita Bittner and Sue Rogers; uncles, Frank Cuellar and Albert Cuellar. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; aunts, Josephine Clark, Margaret Calvio, Veda Gilmore, Delores Doughtery, Kathryn Timura; uncles, Pete Cuellar, Manuel Cuellar, Joe Cuellar, Robert Rogers, Charles Rogers and John Cuellar.
