CONDITIONS

All competitors must be a current ACA member. ACA membership season is 1st April – 31st March

Horses are restricted to a maximum of two first round starts excluding Ladies, Juvenile and Junior/Mini Campdrafts

Prize money paid out as per ACA Rules R.8 & R.9 and will be paid by direct deposit the week after the draft

The status of a horse winning a campdraft will be determined by the highest class of horse that competes with the exception of Juniors, Juveniles, Ladies, Old Buffers, Associates and Encouragement campdrafts. The winner attains the status of the highest class of horse participating (e.g. if one Open horse competes then it is classed as an Open draft.’ (Rule 9.4).

The same horse may be ridden in the Junior & Mini events.

If a horse competes in the Junior and/or Mini, it must not be ridden in any other event unless ridden by the same junior/mini

competitor.

Riders under the age of 18 must wear helmets whilst mounted on a horse at all ACA affiliated events. Helmets must comply with current safety standards & must be securely fastened under the chin at all times

Competitors ride at their own risk and to ACA rules.

Judges decision is final.

Committee reserves the right to alter, amend or cancel any event or include other events should it be deemed advisable.

Any competitor who wishes to lodge a complaint must lodge the complaint in writing with the Secretary within one (1) hour of the incident taking place. A fee of $20 must be lodged with the complaint. If the complaint is dismissed by the Committee, the $20 is forfeited.

Children under the age of 17 must not ride a stallion on the grounds at any time.

The Committee reserves the right to determine local riders.

Nominations open on Campdraft Central 6am, Tuesday 11th August 2020 for 24hrs. Please ensure current ACA Membership

Number appears on Campdraft Central when nominating.

Nomination fees must be received by Tuesday 18th August 2020.

Scratchings after 8am Friday 21st August 2020 will forfeit FULL nominations – unless extenuating circumstances apply. This will be at the discretion of the committee.

Competitors are asked to keep pens to a reasonable size.

Facilities There will be no power available onsite for the weekend.

Ridgelands State School will be running a Takeaway Canteen Saturday and Sunday. A Takeaway Pizza Van will be operating on Friday night.

No bar will be operating over the weekend due to COVID restrictions.

Showers and Toilets available throughout the weekend, where possible we ask that you use your own amenities due to COVID restrictions.

COVID SAFE PLAN

All spectators and competitors must abide by COVID regulations throughout the weekend, including social distancing and all appropriate hygiene measures

All spectators and competitors must sign in and out at the gate throughout the weekend.

Competitors and immediate family members only are permitted at the grounds over the weekend.

Camp sites are to be 15 metres apart unless they are family members travelling together.
