OUR STORY

Prior to commencing Ridgeline, Peter had manufactured his own range of tough

motorcycle and motocross clothing, which gave him hands-on insight into what

outdoor adventurers needed - clothing that was warm, light, comfortable and able to

handle whatever the elements threw at it.

In the early years, the Ridgeline brand achieved a high level of acceptance with New

Zealand hunters, but Peters time was always divided between his manufacturing and

magazine editing tasks, which meant that Ridgeline did not always receive the

attention it deserved. So when Cameron Sports indicated an interest in acquiring the

Ridgeline brand, the deal was done.

Since then, with innovation and hard work the brand has grown exponentially -

becoming part of the Fuller group of companies and a market leader in the

Australasian hunting clothing scene and now further afield into the likes of Southern

Africa and Western Europe

Ridgeline began life as a New Zealand-owned and operated specialist outdoor clothing brand at the hands of Peter Maxwell. In mid-1993 Peter began working on the first Ridgeline designs and the product range was a successfully launched in the March/April 1994 issue of NZ Guns & Hunting magazine.

The Ridgeline philosophy has been consistent from the early beginnings until now - to

ensure that comfortable, durable performance outdoor clothing should be affordable.

Now with a group of brand managers around the world, Ridgeline has developed a

specialist range of fabrics to suit just about any challenge and environment. With the

characteristic of Ridgeline (Warmth, Comfort, Durability and Functionality), combined

with superior designs and its own Hide & Seek Buffalo Camo and now new Grassland,

Ridgeline is a market leader and the choice of many hunting and outdoor enthusiasts

alike. Although Ridgeline is well known for its hunting apparel, we now offer an

extensive range of general outdoor clothing suitable for all outdoor enthusiasts.

Ridgeline Australia is situated in one of the coldest areas in Australia: Bowral, New

South Wales. We now supply over 300 retailers nationally including the likes of Aussie

Disposals, All Goods, Camping World and Mensland. In August 2012, we launched our

Southern Star 200 does not retain moisture but allows it to evaporate and the fabric remains dry.

The Apache is a mid cut, waterproof boot, with a Hyper Grip textured outsole. The Hyper Grip rubber composite provides excellent traction on both wet and dry surfaces, meaning youre less likely to slip and scare that deer. The well-built and secure sole will be light and sturdy as you stalk through the bush.

With waterproof treated leather, combined this with the Thinsulate inner and your feet will stay warm and dry all weekend.

The Warrior is the most affordable high cut waterproof boot available! With high performance in mind, the Warrior will not let you down and will stand up to any terrain.

Like our Apache boot, the Warrior is made from full grain Nubuck leather and has a durable fast lacing system. Its HydroGuard waterproof membrane offers superb protection while its 200g Thinsulate insulation gives the wearer excellent warmth, breathability and comfort.
