To filter objects, below of which are few or no terrain points, a second filter step is performed. The second filter step should be performed in cases where the usage of a single tolerance factor does not provide a satisfying classification result.

To filter a number of measurements below the real surface, this option should be activated. Such measurements occur mainly, when scanning on water-surfaces. The laser is reflected on the water-surface and detects objects of longer distance, but underneath the real surface.
