The purpose of the vending machines at TNCC Hampton Campus is for revenue, but not geared towards healthy eating habits for the faculty, staff, and students.

Any and all persons that buy from a TNCC Hampton Campus are directly affected.

None of the selections can be made that will result in a healthy choice.

Further more, “healthy” items seem to be out of stock more often than they are stocked.

H.U.M.A.N. incorporations has developed and implemented healthy vending machines throughout the United States.

With six machines to choose from, TNCC can acquire the lowest costing one titled “The Apprentice”.

Lastly, H.U.M.A.N. allows for the buyer to customize the snacks stocked within every machine they install.

We contacted The Peninsula Vending Services, however, they would not divulge any information about their vending machines.

Upon searching the internet, we discovered H.U.M.A.N., a healthy vending service. While investigating their website, we found six

different types of machines to choose from. All machine snacks had claimed to be

customizable.

Do not replace all twenty-eight vending machines on TNCC Hampton Campus with H.U.M.A.N. machines. The cost would be too great, and commissions

would not weigh out the machines costs.

Two machines should be implemented at TNCC Hampton Campus. One at the Hampton III building and one within the

Gallery. Having only two machines would make the cost

worth the commission. Poll the TNCC Hampton Faculty, Staff, and

Students about current vending machines.
