We had a truly fantastic week for our food drive. For own collection, we took in 545 lbs. of food, 101 lbs. of clothing, and 50 lbs. of toiletries. That brings our grand total to 1,616 lbs. ! An amazing display of generosity form everyone in the parish. We are grateful to all of you!
Two Masses for Life Scheduled this January 2018 Join Bishop George V. Murry, S. J. to pray for a greater respect for all human life at every stage of its existence at the diocesan Masses for Life on:
Saturday, January 13 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Parish, North Canton (241 S. Main St. )
Sunday, January 21 at 4:00 p.m. at Columba Cathedral (154 W. Wood St., Youngstown)
All expectant mothers, fathers and families in attendance will be invited to receive a blessing for their unborn children. In addition, there will be a blessing of pilgrims attending the March for Life in Washington, D.C. Each Mass for Life will be followed by a Recep-tion including an “Expo” of Respect Life Information. THANK YOU! A huge thank you to Colette Hunter and all the students at Our Lady of Peace School. The students conducted their own food drive for Hope Outreach. During that week, they collected a whopping 860 lbs. of food. An amazing job. Thank you all so much. You truly are helping those most in need. Thank you all again! Small but Mighty Please prayerfully consider giving your time and atten-tion by being a teacher for our K/1st grade class for our parish school of religion. We need help January 7th - March. Classes meet regularly on Sunday morn-ings from 9:15-10:45am. This is a great opportunity for a teen and parent, those preparing for marriage (or newly married), or even grandparents that live farther away from grandchildren to grow in their faith togeth-er as they work with the children. Tree of Giving Thank you very much to everyone who took a tag from the tree or made a donation. The gen-erosity of everyone is truly overwhelming. Your kindness has helped make this project a success. Your spirit of giving will make this Christmas much brighter for many families. Christmas Blessings to everyone.
