ROUTE Tbilisi - Sighnaghi - Lopota - Kazbegi - Borjomi - Vardzia – Tbilisi
DAY 01. Tbilisi
Arrival in Tbilisi and check in at our hotel in the city center. Formerly known as Tiflis, Tbilisi is the capital of Georgia, lying on the banks of the Mtkvari River. Founded in the 5th century by the monarch of Georgia's ancient precursor Kingdom of Iberia . We explore the capital on a sightseeing tour. Enjoy dinner at a restaurant overlooking the old town.
The singing clock tradition exists in Tbilisi. This singing tower was erected in front of
the Marionette Thearte.
Georgia has a unique welcoming culture, which explains the world-famous hospitality. There is a saying in Georgia, that “A guest is a gift from God”. And you will be surprised by the warmth and genuineness of the hospitality you receive wherever you travel and stay in Georgia.

DAY 02. Tbilisi - Kakheti, Lopota Lake
After breakfast, we set off for Kakheti, a famous winemaking region. We stop off to visit the Garedzhi caves and monastary, the Alaverdi Monastery and the main tourist center of Kakheti, which is Sighnaghi. We finish the day at Lopota Lake, where we feast on Georgian cuisine and spend the night in a lakeside hotel.
The brands of Khachapouri (cheese bread). Khinkali (dumplings), or Satsivi (walnut sauce) are several examples of specific Georgian gastronomy also influenced by Middle Eastern and European culinary traditions. Georgia – the cradle of wine and source of world’s first cultivated grapevines for over 8000 years – has guarded its ancient winemaking traditions but acquired modern techniques as well.

DAY 03. Lopota Lake - Kazbegi region
We enjoy breakfast and make our way through the Kazbegi region, which runs along the border of Georgia and Russia. Marvel at the snowy peaks of the Caucasus and the Trinity Monastery, which rests high in the mountains at 2,700 meters. Our day’s journey leads us to a relaxing alpine hotel with stunning panoramic views.

DAY 04. Kazbegi Region - Borjomi
We eat breakfast at the hotel, then take a trip to the Truso Valley. Amidst some of the most beautiful gorges in the country, we enjoy an outdoor lunch. Borjomi is famous for its mineral water, and we can try it directly from the source. We finish the day at the Bakuriani mountain resort, where we have dinner and spend the night.
Georgian feast is an old ritual dating back to the dawn of the country. It is a part of lush folklore rich in songs and dance. If you happen to take part in it even once you will remember it forever.

DAY 05. A trip to the Vardzia cave monastery
After breakfast at the hotel, we visit one of Georgia’s most famous sites, the Vardzia cave monastery. Our route there winds along the picturesque Tabatskuri Lake. We enjoy dinner and spend the night in Bakuriani.
Having substituted Lower – for Upper Vardzia, she (Queen Tamar) began to build a residence for our Blessed Lady of Vardzia who helped her in battles. The church and the cells for monks were cut in the rock and made inaccessible and impregnable for enemies. Her father Giorgi began to build Vardzia, but he left it unfinished. The Great Tamar completed it, embellished and endowed it with vast lands, richly provided for subsistence. It is difficult to account for it all. DAY 06. Bakuriani - Tbilisi
We have breakfast at the hotel and head to Uplistsikhe Cave Town (Georgian for “God’s Fortress”), located near the town of Gori. We eat lunch at a restaurant and continue on to Tbilisi. After checking in at the hotel, there is the option to visit Tbilisi’s famous sulfur baths.
DAY 07. Tbilisi
Breakfast at the hotel, followed by free time (depending on the time of departure). Transfer to the airport.
