Robin Hood 1: The Legend Robin Hood is a character of legend. He is traditionally said to have been an outlaw who stole money from the rich to give to the poor. There is evidence to suggest that he may have lived during the 12 th and 13 th centuries. BORN IN 1160 IN NOTTINGHAMSHIRE OR LOCKSLEY. BECAME AN OUTLAW FOR KILLING ONE OF THE KING’S DEER. HE DIED ON DECEMBER 14 ,1247. 2: Location This is the area of England where the Robin Hood legend is set. The city of Nottingham is associated with Robin Hood. 3: Time At the time of the Robin Hood stories, the King of England, Richard The Lionheart was away from the country leading a Crusade to the Holy Land. The King’s evil brother Prince John ruled in his absence. 4: Robin Hood and his MERRY MEN Robin is supposed to have lived in Sherwood Forest with a band of outlaws known as The Merry Men. Friar Tuck GAVE THE NAME “ THE MERRY MEN” TO ROBIN HOOD’S BAND OF MEN. ROBIN HOOD’S BAND OF OUTLAWS LOVED HIM FOR HIS COURAGE AND BRAVERY. 5: Maid Marian: There's an old saying that behind every great man is a great woman. Meet Maid Marian. She is Robin Hood's true love and truly a great woman. she acts as a spy, passing information to the rogues in Sherwood. Sometimes she lives as an outlaw with Robin and is as good an archer and swordsman as he is. 6: Other characters Little John : was really tall, and he worked for the prince for a short period of time. Friar Tuck met Robin in the prison. Will Scarlet: met also with Robin and they lead to a broadsword fight and the stonger won of course. Prince John: was a selfish and cruel ruler. He taxed the people heavily and stole money and property. The Sheriff of Nottingam: Without question, Robin Hood's principal enemy is the Sheriff of Nottingham. Robin has tricked the sheriff on many occasions. The sheriff might be the legal authority in Nottinghamshire, but he was most certainly not the moral authority. Guy of Gisbore: One day Robin Hood met a stranger in the greenwood. The stranger told the outlaw that he was hunting Robin Hood. Finally Robin showed his identity.

7: Robin’s last adventureWHEN THE KING KIDNAPPED MAID MARIAN ROBIN HOOD RUSHED TO HER RESCUE. THERE HE WOUNDED JOHN WITH A SWORD. DOCTORS TRIED TO SAVE JOHN, BUT HIS SWORD WOUND WAS CLOSE TO HEART AND DOCTORS COULDN’T HELP HIM. MIRACULOUSLY HE SURVIVED.

8: ConclusionROBIN HOOD WAS AN EXPERT AT SHOOTING THE BOW AND ARROW.ROBIN HOOD WAS SAID TO BE A CHARMING, COURAGEOUS AND KIND TYPE OF PERSON.ROBIN HOOD WAS A LEGENDARY SWORDSMAN KNOWN ALL OVER ENGLAND. IT WAS SAID THAT HE HAD CHALLENGED KING JOHN TO A DUEL.
