Greetings from Ann & NatWith summer right around the corner, we are beyond delighted to welcome both campers and staff to join our summer family. As within all families, we all have our specific roles. Be you the mentor or mentee, your common goal may be to have fun with a purpose in a safe and loving environment. If we all succeed in using the afore mentioned formula, lifelong friendships will be the final result.Our recruiting season has been most successful as we have seen many new families.Our return of campers is extraordinary and we welcome back about 60 returning staff and 20 ex-camper counselors.We look forward to seeing all campers and staff in June and to sharing an exciting 2018 season.

Alana (Budasoff) Lindhold (Juniper 1996) and her husband Ryan

welcomed baby girl Ava Sophie on January 19, 2018.

She weighed 6 lbs and measured 20 inches long.

Ava joins her older siblings Asher Emerson (4.5) and

Adelaide Josie (2.5).

Dani (Miller) Garcia (Juniper 2000) and her husband

Bobby welcomed baby Sophie Sloane on February 2, 2018.

Her big sister Lily has been enjoying her new roles as both an

older sibling and a part time doctor!

On February 20, 2018 Jacqueline Hopmeyer (Juniper 2001) and her

husband Matt welcomed baby boy Harry Liam

Goldsmith, named after her father.

He weighed 8 lbs 10 oz and measured 21 inches long.

Bess Collier (Juniper 1993) and Brian Schwartz welcomed baby Leo Goldie on October 2, 2017.

He weighed 9 lbs 4 oz and measured 21 inches long.

Big brother Teddy can’t wait to show him around Robindel this

summer!

welcomed baby boyAri William Allen-Oleet on

January 15, 2018.

Sam (Kessler) Weisberg (Juniper 2001) and her husband Robby (CW

alumni!) welcomed baby boy Max on

January 31, 2018. He weighed 6 lbs 14 oz

and measured 19 inches long.

Big sister Ava is so excited about his arrival!

Kirby Kirbster (CR Staff 1991-2006) and Lisa Doscher (CR Staff 2003-

2004) welcomed baby girl Ottilie Rae Kirby-Doscher on January 30, 2018. She weighed 6 lbs 12 oz. Ottilie was

born on Kirby and Lisa’s 8th UK wedding anniversary (their US

wedding was at Robindel). They can’t wait to show her the magical place

where they met and where Kirby calls her second home.

Jennie (Shiers) & Scott Kleiman (CR/CW former campers and

current staff) welcomed baby girlAllison Paige on January 25, 2018.

She weighed 5 lbs 10 oz andshe came early so she could see

the Eagles win their first Super Bowl! Allison is looking

forward to being Robindel’s youngest camper this summer.

Lauren (Meisels) Melshenker (Juniper 1995) and her husband

Bradley welcomed Lucy Gibbs on December 26, 2017.

Big sister Callie Samantha is almost 3 years old.

Robyn (Satnick) Frank (Juniper 1996) and her

husband Andy welcomed baby girl Samantha Rose on

December 18, 2017. Big brothers Elliot and

Cooper and “sister” Maggie (family dog) are excited to

have a baby girl in the family...and a future Robindel camper!

Rachel (Berman) Berkin and her husband David welcomed baby boy Jeremy Holden on

March 5, 2018. He weighed 7 lb 8 oz and measured 21 inches long.

Lauren (Lustbader) Schwartz (Juniper 1994) and her husband Eric welcomed

baby girl Liv Charley on March 2, 2018.

Big sister Drew, Mom and Dad are so in love!

Marissa (Solomon) Sutker(Juniper 2003) and her

husband Jake welcomed baby girl Brady Willow

on March 12, 2018.She weighed 6 lbs 1oz.

Lani (Mandelbaum) Sterling (Juniper 2003) and her husband Keith welcomed baby girl Sophie Brooke on March 15, 2018. Sophie weighed 7 lbs 7 oz and measured 20 inches long.

She already received CR clothing from camp friends Allie (Roth) Brunwasser and Staci Wolf. Grandma Gina (Levey) Mandelbaum (Juniper 1973) is looking forward to

Sophie being a 3rd generation Robindel camper!

Tori Gottlieb (Juniper 2009) and Ross Mccalla got engaged on

December 31, 2017. Her sister Ali (CR camper) will be a junior bridesmaid and Kenzie (first year at CR) will be the flower girl at their wedding in September of

2019. Ross was already familiar with Robindel, as his first cousins (The Meyers) were long time Robindel

campers!

Lori (Kestenbaum) Handy (Juniper 1997

& 2017 Camp Doctor) and her husband Tristan

welcomed baby girl Arabelle Dora on

February 14, 2018. She weighed 8 lbs 1 oz

and was the best Valentine’s gift ever!

Rebecca Carr (Juniper 2007) and Justin Liss got engaged on December 30, 2017. Rebecca and Justin met in college and are both teachers. He proposed on the top of a mountain where her

family has a ski house and included her family as a part of the engagement.

Remi Herbst (Juniper 2005) and Evan Vitale got engaged

on December 30, 2017 in Orlando, Florida where they live. Evan convinced Remi

that they were supposed to be going to brunch near the lake.

He brought her to the lake to propose and surprised her with some family and friends.

Evan and Remi became friends in 2005 and started

dating in 2012.

Lindsay Silverman (Juniper 2006) and Corey

Gross got engaged on December 28, 2017.

They met during theirfreshman year at

The University of Arizona and plan to get married at The Vizcaya Museum in

Florida next spring.

Claudia Kronenfeld (Juniper 2004) and Jonathan

Williams got engaged on March 24, 2018.

Claudia and Jonathan met when she was visiting CR friend Alexa DiSciullo in

college!

Chelsey Amer (Juniper 2003) married Scott Group on February 24, 2018 in New York. They are pictured with camp friends Marissa (Solomon) Sutker & her husband Jake, and Jaclyn (Miller) Tiffen & her husband Andrew.

Lara Wilkes (CR Staff 2004-2013, 15 & 17) married Colin Byrne on March 10, 2018 in London. They got married in an old Tudor mansion called Leez Priory. Rain and snow managed to stay

away and the sun even shone on their special day! Lara and Colin are preparing for a 3-month honeymoon adventure in Central America.

Laura Giorgetti (CR Staff 2004-2010) and Greg Kozol got married on January 13, 2018 in

Farmington, CT. CR friends at the

wedding included Bess Staebler, Maxine Marlowe, Hillary Van Dyke, Laura Yost and Leah Hamos.
