ExR-1 TRL Level 9: Taking bulk orders from July 2018
3 cameras with “point and zoom” & high definition snapshots.
Stereo “human hearing range” microphone. Self-charging with
2-hour battery life. 4G or WiFi communications. Optional lights.
Routine and ad-hoc inspections of normally unmanned gas facilities around TheNetherlands. Operator sits in a central control facility and drives each robot inturn using its cameras and microphones as “eyes and ears”. This saves theoperator’s travel time. A similar use-case is inspection of de-commissioned offshore platforms.
ExR-1.1 TRL Level 4: Taking bulk orders from August 2018
ExR-1 plus autonomous navigation using white lines and
beacons.
Routine inspections of normally unmanned facilities. Robot automatically navigates
itself between inspection locations and pages the operator when it’s on location
and ready to inspect. This saves the operator’s travel and walking time.
ExR-1.2 TRL Level 4: Taking bulk orders from August 2018. ExR-1.1 plus
gas/leak detectors e.g. FLIR G300a IR gas detector, Ion Science
Falco PID detector, Honeywell 3000 Mk2 acid gas detector.
Performs routine leak detection rounds without a human operator. It sends an
alarm to the control-room if a leak is detected. The operator then takes control of
the robot and inspects the potential leak. This saves the cost of an operator.
ExR-2 TRL Level 4: Project suspended awaiting a customer. ExR-3 plus
light-duty manipulation arm
Robot is located on a normally unmanned offshore platform. If production
trips a remote operator investigates the cause using the robot. If the trip is
spurious the robot arm is used to restart production. If not the maintenance crew
is better prepared for the intervention.
This can reduce deferred production and the cost of intervention vessels.
ExR-3 TRL Level 4: Taking bulk orders January 2019
New body shape with lower centre of gravity.
Autonomous navigation designed to suit customer’s location.
As for ExR-1.2 except the robot will be able to navigate a wider range of
facilities including stairs and elevated platforms.
The existing ExRobotics product range and use cases(the range will evolve to suit new customer needs)
