Mamou Minute from Dan & Melodie Ibsen - So that you can begin praying with us for a "Miraculous Movement" of God in Mamou, we would like to begin sharing a bit each month about what He has done and is do-ing. CMA work in Mamou began in 1929 when it was chosen as the most ideal place for the school for children of international workers because of its pleasant climate. It's located in the mountains so is much cooler than other places in West Africa where those early international workers were serving. Although the focus of those who worked there was not on evangelism and church planting primarily, the staff of the school had a great impact on the community as they interacted with those who lived down the hill from them and in the town itself. The school nurse is still remembered by the elderly folks on the mountainside as the lady who fixed their teeth when they had problems as children. God was beginning to express His love for the Fulani people of Mamou and to sew the seeds of the Gospel in their hearts.

There is a small room at the back of the sanctuary called the Quiet Room for people who are training their children to be a part of the Sunday Service. The room is equipped with speakers and a large

window so it is still possible to be involved in the service while your child learns.

Bear Lake Bible Camp Needs Your Help!

Our weeks of service are July 21-26 (Teen Camp), and July 28-31 (Bear Cubs). Currently we need vol-unteers to fill spots of Cook Helpers (both A.M. and

P.M. slots), Nurses, Photographers, Boat Drivers, Maintenance Helper,

and Camp Grandma.

in the foyer.
