Brief Description In an effort to support our continued business growth, Rodney Hunt Fontaine is recruiting an Engineering Intern. Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, the Engineering Intern will be responsible for organizing part numbers from the part number database. This will involve matching pre-existing part numbers and drawings with applicable ASTM standards. Key Accountabilities Responsible for analyzing data as well as data input with extreme attention to detail. Responsible for reviewing with guidance engineering drawings and supporting documentation for adherence to material & process standards Job Requirements In junior or senior year of completing coursework towards a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or a related field. Microsoft Access experience preferred; Excel required French language skills a plus, not required Effectively utilize Microsoft Word, and Outlook Knowledge of ASTM Standards a HUGE plus Capabilities and Success Factors Excellent people, communication, negotiation and facilitation skills High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Access) Superior interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions, with acute attention to detail Ability to adapt to unfamiliar processes and situations with minimal review/supervision. Flexibility to adapt to deadlines, changing schedules, priorities, and unpredictable events within a fast- paced manufacturing environment EOE/D/F/M/V
