Following is a series of lists and charts showing the results of our survey which was on-line for three months until August 2009. Click the mouse button to advance.

Here are a number of suggestions which were made by our patrons:

• I think it would be wonderful to have local artists represented in exhibits. All kinds of classes would be welcome.

• I am happy to arrange exhibits and can help with promotional materials

• It would really be nice to have an area where local artists could exhibit their work.

• Would be glad to teach painting, sculpture, drawing

• Photography courses• Art History lectures• Poetry readings by local poets• Reading plays by individuals• Chamber Concerts• I could do tax preparation help• All of this could be very valuable for the town.

• Children’s theater• Don’t forget young adults• I enjoy reading to children and am happy to

volunteer for a story hour• Would like to do crafts with children, knitting,

crochet, felting, painting, clay• I know someone who would do music and another

theater and storytelling

• Movies for children

• 13-15 children like book clubs

• Ethics discussion

• Fairy tales, comedy, romance and fun

• Love learning with music

• Local farming issues.

• Would also love to see some sort of a companion program to what Clearwater is doing in terms of cleaning up the river and the environment.

• Alternative methods of providing health care would be of interest

• Finding doctors in the area who work with alternative medicine in conjunction with mainstream medicine.

• Ways of shopping and cooking for a health diet on a low to medium income

• I could play the guitar on the patio on Sunday evening, and also could form a group to read plays.

• Herbs for cooking etc.

• Exercise classes

• We could solicit the help of the County Extension Bureau, The Red Cross, Environmental Groups etc.

We ask our patrons:

• Please let us know if you have help and ideas to contribute and join us when we have our first planning session. The success of this program is to the benefit of all.
