Act 1, Prologue

The Prologue introduces the story by talking about the two families in the story the Capulets, and the Montague's. The two families are enemies towards each other. The Capulets have a son named Romeo and the Montague’s have a daughter named Juliet.

The Start of Fight (Act 1 Sence 1)

Sampson and Gregory have a unexpected sword fight. That’s when Tybalt broke up the fight between them. But they started fighting again after all.

Scene 2:

Paris asks the Capulet to marry his daughter Juliet. Capulet says no Paris has to wait 2 more years because Juliet's only 14.

Scene 3:

The Capulet servant can’t read. He asks Romeo to read a invitation. Since Romeo read the invitation he invited him to the party.

Scene 4:

That night on a Street in Verona Romeo, Benvolio, and Mercutio all are walking around. Each talking about each others love.

Scene 5:

The Capulet welcome the guest, Romeo sees and asks one of the servants about her. Tybalt notices Romeo (a Montague) and tells Capulet. Then the Capulets start to kick Romeo out of the party.

Scene 1:

Benvolio and Mercutio are joking around with Rome after the party. They are outside the walls of the Capulets orchard. Teasing him about his love for Juliet.

Scene 2:

Romeo is outside of Juliet's room but doesn’t know. When Juliet hears someone speaking she notices that its Romeo.

Scene 3:

Romeo goes to ask his spiritual adviser if he can marry him and Juliet. But he wants to know what happened to Rosaline. Romeo says he just cares for Juliet now.

Scene 4:

Romeo send Juliet at 9’oclock. Then later meets up with Mercuito. The nurse comes on and asks for Romeo and doesn’t notice he's sitting right there.

Scene 5:

Juliet is waiting for her nurse to come back from meeting with Romeo. When the nurse comes back she tells her that Romeo loves her and wants to marry her.

The Wedding

Scene 1:

Mercutio and Tybalt start sword fighting, and Romeo jumps in it for Tybalt. His new distant cousin.

Scene 2:

Juliet hears Romeo was banished from the country. She also hears that Tybalt died. She doest know who 2 cry for, her cousin or her husband.

Scene 3:

Romeos reaction to getting banished from the town, is saying he wants to kill himself.He rather be in Heaven with Juliet. The Friar tells him to spend one night with Juliet, go to another country, and he’ll fix everything.

Scene 4:

Romeo sneaks to see Juliet. They tell each other how much they love each other. Then Romeo hurries and leaves in the morning.

Scene 1:

The Nurse didn’t comfort Juliet. Juliet starts weeping for Romeo. Then she starts to talk her death.

Scene 2:

Capulet is making arrangements for the wedding when Juliet appears.She begs her father's pardon, and tells him that she will marry Paris. This makes Capulet so happy that he moves the wedding up to Wednesday.

Scene 3:

Juliet persuades her mother and the Nurse to leave her alone. She goes over everything that could go wrong. She’s scared by visions of the grave and drinks to Romeo.

Scene 4:

The Capulets and their servants are busy preparing for the wedding. Paris’ musicians are heard, and the Capulet send the Nurse to wake Juliet.

Scene 5:

The Nurse tries to wake Juliet, but finds that she is dead. Lady Capulet and Capulet come running, then recognize their daughter's death.
