cess criteria of Rondo Ganahl AG. Our core business
comprises the manufacturing of corrugated board pack-
aging and corrugated case materials as well as the
collecting of waste paper and used packaging. Our
paper mill in Frastanz, Austria, produces 100 %
recycled paper and takes a leading role in the main
markets of Germany and Austria with the white testli-
ner types. Brown papers are primarily produced for our
own corrugated board factories, which help shape the
market in their particular regions.
The use of state-of-the-art technology, long-standing
know-how and the strengths of a dynamic, medium-
sized family-owned company form the basis for the

Re-utilising instead of wasting.The production of Rondo’s corrugated case materials is our
sustainable commitment to the responsible handling of
natural resources. In our paper mill in Frastanz, we recycle
more than 120,000 tons of waste paper every year. Waste
paper, which to a large extent originates from our collection
business in Hall, Tyrol/Austria. Therefore the corrugated
case material recovered from this process is a 100 %
recycled product, which is used in the corrugated board
industry. The packaging items produced from this material
are fully recyclable. Thus, we keep the ecologically reaso-
nable cycle going.

Perfected processes.
Paper has been produced at our Frastanz facility since
1911. Our Paper Machine PM2, first put into operation in
1961, still represents state-of-the-art technology, having
been upgraded at great expense in 1978, 1988, 1994,
2003, and again in 2011. Continuous investments are an
important part of Rondo’s quality management.
We combine this with expert, quality-conscious staff to
produce corrugated case materials that stand out thanks
to excellent runability, impeccable printability and first-
rate technical values.
All of the functions of the paper machine are con-
trolled and monitored using the latest computerised
process control system. A continuous display allows
the production team to operate the system to its best
advantage. Frequent exchange of knowledge with
specialists of the adjacent corrugated board factory
guarantees continuous further development of pro-
cesses and products.

A high-quality soft calendar and a uniformly wound roll
with high picking resistance as well as sufficient elasti-

The paper is again tested thoroughly in our well-equip-
ped laboratory and then made available to you. Long-
term storage of parameters relevant to quality ensures
complete traceability. Our papers are also available
with FSC-certification.
