A Typical Evening… CrossWalk Little Lights

Starting at 5:30-6:45 pm, children participate in Bible learning, dinner, free play, and a closing worship time. During this time, children will also participate in the Little Lights Choir, which shares music with the congregation at Sunday morning worship, about once a month.

Little Lights Out

For kids Age 3-K whose parents are volunteering or attending adult education, Little Lights Out is a supervised, quiet play time, in the same room as Little Lights, from 6:45-7:45 pm.

CrossWalk Kids Crews

CrossWalk Kids Choir or Puppet Crew From 5:30-6:10 pm, kids choose between two options geared toward worship leadership: the CrossWalk Kids Choir or the CrossWalk Puppet Crew! Both Crews prepare either music or puppet presentations that are share with the congregation at Sunday worship, about once a month. CrossWalk Family Dinner From 6:15-6:45, kids share Dinner with other partici-pants of CrossWalk Wednesdays! Kids are grouped by age at tables with adult volunteers called Table Parents. Kids remain with their group and table parents for the entire year, building lasting friendships. Meals choices are made with kids’ taste in mind!

Recreation/Play From 6:45-7:45, Kids Crews enjoy a large group game and then break into small groups for a variety of offerings. Recreation/Play options change every 4 weeks or so and are led by members of our congregation who share their gifts and hobbies. (See Parent Choice Section!) Children wind down with a Bible story and closing.
