Determining a Solution

After much discussion, it appeared the well installationoption was not good due to the low production of anexisting nearby well.

Page 20: Rotary International - San Jose Water Company Thailand Water Project

In addition, there does not appear to be any close local surface water supply available for treatment.

Determining a Solution

Page 21: Rotary International - San Jose Water Company Thailand Water Project

ROTARY CLUBOf

The best solution: install piping to connect to anexisting treated water source

Proposed Solution

Above Ground Tank on a Hill

An above ground tank will be installed at the temple site to provide a reliable water supply with sufficient pressure

Page 24: Rotary International - San Jose Water Company Thailand Water Project

Proposed Solution

Piping will be installed by a contractor to tank site (~1400 meters) and then to the village center (~1500 meters). At that point, villagers will hand dig to extend water main and provide services.
