Marubeni’s Challenge
Delta SubSea’s Solutions • DSS operated from Seacor Marine’s DPAHV Keith Cowan, a US-
flagged anchor handling towing supply vessel
• After receiving the contract, DSS mobilized quickly and was ready for operations in less than 48 hours
• DSS delivered a Schilling HD™ 150hp ROV, Dynacon LARS system as well as a skilled crew with vast knowledge of the scope of work that needed to be done
• The ROV utilized torque tools, super grinders, and 15K intensifier unit
• Marubeni Oil & Gas and Noble Driller contacted Delta SubSea (DSS) with a serious need for plug and abandonment work done on its deepwater gas production infrastructure off the Gulf of Mexico
• The scope of work included the plugging and abandoning of GC 155, then removing assets from the field
• DSS was chosen by Marubeni Oil & Gas and Noble Driller because of quality of equipment and personnel well experienced with the scope of work
