Converts a double to a triple socket outlet without changing the existing two gang wall box.


With the increasing sophistication of electrical and electronicequipment, the need for protection from radio frequencyinterference (RFI) and mains borne transient surges is of paramount importance. Power fluctuation problems can arise from lightning strikes, electrical equipment being turned on andoff and radio transmissions etc.

Most power surges will be obstructed by the filter. If an abnormally high surgeshould occur that saturates the filter, the ‘Protected when lit’ indicator will goout and the socket should be replaced. It will however continue to operate asa normal socket so continuous power/data will not be lost.
