•The combination of RU40RNC+RU40BTS gives optimum KPIs, better than RU30EP2 as our pilots have verified. Get the full benefits from RU40 release upgrade improvements with this recommended configuration. Achieve optimal KPIs and get the full, tested benefits by having both RNC and BTS upgraded to RU40 SW level:

– More capacity for HSPA & Smartphones

– Better user experience in Mass Events and unexpected High Traffic events

– Enables Refarming of 850 and 900Mhz with less spectrum

– Supports Smart LTE interworking and SRVCC

•Upgrade procedure: during upgrade there is a temporary RU40 RNC and RU30 EP BTS combination in the field but it is highly recommended to upgrade BTS promptly within 30days of RNC upgrade•(Using RNC and BTS on different SW levels will not give the full benefits of RU40 release upgrade improvements.)
