1 Game Summary

The game is set on the coast of Gujarat making players familiar to the coastal culture and letting them

understand the challenges that fishermen face. Each player plays the role of a boat owner. The bankgrants a loan and boat which allows you to start his journey in the seas. At each point you will face the

same problems that fishermen and boat makers do. Each player is at the same level and plays the same

role. You can sell fish, choose your path, do fishing, upgrade your boats and dice will allow you to moveahead. All the players will be boat owners giving each other fierce competition trying to earn more money

and attempting to reach the home port as early as possible.

2 Set up

The game contains game board which foldable, 6 tokens, 50 rupee notes and 100 rupee notes, market

cards, tokens for Rohu, Catla, Zingo and Bangdi fish. Each player begins the game from the home port

where the tokens of each player must be placed initially and each player must be handed over 500 rupees

from the bank so that they can make the payments and do trading along the way. Then the game begins.

3 Game Play

Any player can start the game but its better to let the youngest player go first. Its not required to get a

6 on the dice to begin the game. Any player can throw any number on the dice and the game will proceed.

The players are supposed to follow the path, but at several junctions they can choose the course. On aplayers turn the player throws the dice and moves the token as the number on the dice. Wherever the

player lands if there are any instructions then those instructions must be followed.

Special conditions

At times special conditions are encountered like player lands on another player, at such points both canlet their tokens stand together. There are many special spaces where either the player will receive some

benefit or will suffer, player has to follow the written instruction.

Player selects any three numbers on the dice and takes turn at throwing the dice. If the dice shows the

number you selected, you will win the entitled price money.

Market Cards

The special market cards must be shuffled each time any player lands on the market space. A card mustbe given to that player. The card will show the market rates so the player can decide for himself whetherhe wants to buy fish or sell. These cards have local names of fish and their rates which help players in

trading.

Winners

Winning is determined on who earns the maximum money during the entire game. There can be a tiealso. In such case game can be played again or both can be declared as winners.

Special Rewards

The player which reaches the home port first gets reward of Rs.500. Second person gets Rs.400, third

person gets Rs.300, fourth person gets Rs.200, Fifth person gets Rs.100 and the last person gets Rs. 50.

After reaching home port person shuffles the market cards again and then sells of his fish at the current

rate and finally each players money is totaled up.
