Run through history with our chip-timed races that begin at the historic Yorktown waterfront. The 5K & 10K proceed by Cornwallis’ Cave, the Yorktown Victory Monument and the waterfront, with the 10K looping through the Yorktown Battlefield, past Surrender Field and down Surrender Road. The 1-Mile Fun Run is entirely along the flat and fast Yorktown waterfront.
Chip Timed – All Three Races! 1 Mile Family Fun Run– Supported by – Drs. Butterfoss, Barton & Pappas Orthodontics.
– 1 free scoop of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream to all children under 13
Enjoy Family Fun– YMCA Family Fun Zone, 8:30-11:00am– Visit local museums, historical sites
and the National Parks Battlefields – Walk the beach front– Local shopping & restaurants
Post-Race Activities– Music– Refreshments– Soft drinks, craft beer, wine– Good conversations and socializing– Awards ceremony

RACE REGISTRATION
– Received in mail, at YMCA or online by 9:00pm on March 23 10K $40 5K $30 Fun Run $5 (or $12 with a shirt)
– Received at YMCA or online by 6:00pm on April 3 10K $45 5K $35 Fun Run $5 (shirts not guaranteed)
– Race Day Registration 10K $50 5K $40 Fun Run $5 (shirts not guaranteed)
– Shirts and sizes guaranteed for registrations received before 9:00pm, March 23 in the mail, at the YMCA or online.
Shirts will be distributed while supplies last for entries received after March 23.

– Strollers are allowed at the back of the starting pack.

PLEASE READ AND SIGN THIS WAIVERI know that running a road race is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run/walk unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decisions of
a race official to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume all risks associated with running/walking in this event including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants,
the effects of the weather, including high heat or humidity, traffic, and the condition of the road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing
these facts and in consideration of your accepting entry, I, for myself and for anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Peninsula Metropolitan YMCA, volunteers & staff,
York County, National Park Service, York County Parks and Recreation, the Colonial Road Runners and all sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of
any kind arising out of my participation in this event. I grant permission to all of the forgoing to use any photographs, motion pictures recordings, or any other record of this event for
any legitimate purpose. In consideration for the safety of all participants, headphones, animals, skate boards, or skates are not prohibited.
