    Potential pollutants may run offdriveways, streets and guttersinto stormdrains, carryingeverything in its path motor

    oil, brake dust, leaves, dirt, petwaste, etc.

    The stormdrains lead to creeks& rivers, where pollutants canflow untreated into the oceancausing water pollution &beach postings.

    waters, many times the location isunbeknownst to the person thatspilled or dumped.

    Washwater that originatedfrom a driveway drains intothe gutter.

    It travels along the gutterinto the storm drain.

    Make sure landscaping contractors are aware ofthe environmental regulations by updating yourcontract language. You are responsible for theirviolations!

    Must address runoff it an ongoing inspectionmaintenance responsibility.

    All greenwaste must be collected and disposed ofproperly. Greenwaste cannot be disposed orblown in the gutter or catch basins.
