ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES

Many high-tech features are incorporated within the communications

systems. To enhance coverage on any of the communications chan-

nels, a 42 foot telescoping mast is built into the truck, which supports

three wideband base style antennas covering 140 Mhz - 890 MHz.

DSS Satellite reception allows 24 hour news and weather updates.

Off air reception of the video down link from the Mass State Police

aircraft is built in, as well digital video recording and playback. Video

down link systems are on board to capture and display imagery from

the BCSO unmanned drone. This provides ICS staff with live over-

head video feeds from both it’s standard and FLIR cameras. Up-Link

and Down-Link System, for live IT networking of dispatch systems

and Internet access. All signals can be feed to an external connector

panel, as well as the ability to accept external video/RF resources.
