As I travel South Carolina to meet with business leaders, talk to various

organizations and participate in board meetings, I regularly tout the support

our Pinnacle of Leadership members provide. In order to continue to grow

economic development opportunities in South Carolina and maintain our

state’s pro-business environment, we need to grow our Pinnacle of Leadership

program so the Chamber can build relationships with dynamic, influential

Agapé Senior was founded in 1999 by Scott Middleton when he bought a small assisted-living facility in West Columbia. Honda of South Carolina Mfg., Inc (HSC), located in Timmonsville, S.C., started manufacturing all Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) in July 1998. Beginning in May 2000, ATV engine manufacturing started, which added die casting, machining and engine assembly operations. In 2013, HSC will produce Honda’s new Side-by-Side (SxS), a vehicle for multiple passengers. The plant has capacity for producing 266,000 ATVs and 310,000 engines annually. HSC has produced over 2 million engines and over 2.5 million ATVs. W hat is the business climate in South Carolina?We get that question quite often. Our clients
