Introduction
Hey!
Balanced dietFast food often seems the best way to
grab a quick bite. We all haveresponsibilities, there’s work, there’s
school, there’s family etc. And fast foodis fast, usually on our way, it’s cheap and
it tastes fine.BUT, did you know that:
Many researches (one of them is Societyof Teachers of Family Medicine and their
research from 2010) have proven thatbuying your groceries and cooking your
own meals is in fact cheaper. Theaverage daily cost of the healthy diet was
7,48$, while fast food diet averaged15,30$ per day.
So by choosing your groceries, anddeciding for a healthy diet, you can also
save the money.Healthy diet from your own kitchen is
two times cheaper!
ALSO, fast food is full of ingredients that canharm your health like: saturated fats,
cholesterol and sugar.Even if the immediate consequences of buying
and eating a hamburger are not so dangerous, aincorrect diet based on those ingredients can
bring several heavy consequences to youradulthood. In fact the amount of saturated fats
that hits your body with every bite brings higherrisks for cardiovascular diseases.
Also while eating fat you gain asatisfaction only for a short period of time,on the other hand, eating carbohydrates,
vegetables and fibre will help yourstomach to feel full for longer.
Good practise which we can find in manycultures is to eat your salad, a piece of fruitor a vegetable before the rest of the meal.
