REFLECTIONTASK 1: LEARNING STYLES

Candidate: AIBLIS SUSEJ HERRERA PALAFOXRationale for this work:

To know the learning style of our students and use the most accurate methods and techniques.

Students: 21 Male: 8 Female: 13School Level: Children 6 Age: 10 - 11

Academic Book Backpack 4

The learning styles model suggests that most students can be visual because the total score of this category was 813 points, but kinesthetic category was in second place with just 765 points, it means we have many students with a melt of visual and kinesthetic learning style; in third place we have the auditory learning style with 722 points, it is also an important number because the difference from the first place it is just 91 points, a little bit more than 10 percent.

Based on those results the teacher can use a mix of activities and techniques trying to involve all the learning styles, because as we can see on the “graph 4” students have a very balanced melt of learning styles, we can see this situation in a very positive way, due to our students will respond effectible to almost any activity.

The learning styles test is a very powerful tool to choose effectible what activities or techniques our students like or dislike, as is showed in the “chart 1. Totals”. As a teacher we

need to know our groups to try to make the learning process an easy and fun practice.
