Equipment Introduction

1.1 Equipment Destription

Whiteth S505 is a denture cutting machine for milling titanium and titaniumalloys and other materials required for dental implants. The equipment is simple inoperation and stable in performance. It is an indispensable tool for implant dentalcutting.

1.2 Equipment Features

Feature one Comprehensive Alarm SystemThis equipment has a comprehensive alarm system, it can provide warning

during the process, remind some kinds of behaviors which may damage materials,tools, or machines, such as:

A) Low pressure of the air cooling；


B) Low pressure of the changing tool and wait the air pressure enough；C) Unsuccessful grasping tool and returning tool;D) Automatic tool calibration, when the tool attrition exceeds 0.05mm in a tool

path；E)Tool breaks during cutting ；

F)When tool number is wrong ; Force the spindle not to clamp the tool before theprogram is run; put the tool back to the tool library after processing,prevent the userplacing the wrong knife。

Feature two Open CAM SystemThe equipment is compatible with any CAM system on the market，such as：

WorkNC、Millbox,Sum3D,Hyperdent,etc.

Feature three Automatic Calibration andAutomatic ProcessingThe equipment has an automatic calibration function, which ensures the accuracy

of the equipment and avoids errors when it begins to formal cut. These can save timeand materials.

Feature four High Intelligence, One-Key OperationHighly intelligent integrated embedded CNC operating system to realize

one-click processing, giving users a better human-computer interaction experienceand making work easier and simpler 。


Feature five High Rigidity, Higher PrecisionThe A-axis and B-axis of the equipment are supported at both ends, which is

more rigid than single-sided support. The sliding block directly below the workingarea is supported without lever force. When high-strength cutting, it is not easy toflick the tool to ensure cutting accuracy.

Feature six Automatic Oil Filling, Longer Service LifeThe equipment has an oil circuit lubrication system, which can automatically fill

the screw and guide rail with oil, so that the screw and guide rail can maintain thelubrication effect and avoid abrasion during use, so that the service life is longer andthe accuracy of the equipment is maintained for a long time.


Feature seven Integrated Structure, Stronger StabilityThe equipment is a one-piece structure, with its own water tank and oil tank, no

3.2 Installation instructions of S505


A.Digital Display Barometer: Display the size of the barometric pressure, and analarm will be issued if it is lower than the set value.B.Intake Port：Connect the Φ8mm air pipe from the OUT end of the automatic drainfilter.C.Power Port: Connect to 220V power supply. You can replace the spare fuse whenit needs.D.Water Tank:Used for spindle cooling, keep the water tank sufficient daily, whenthe water tank water level is lower than E, please add water in time;E.Oil Tank:Used to cool the workpiece during the cutting process. When the oil inthe oil tank is lower than E, please add titanium alloy cutting oil in time.F.Oil Hole：Lubricating oil injection port of screw rod\guide rail;G.Standby power button: For the daily use of the equipment, and only controls thepower supply of components except the computer.H. Main power switch: In the electric box behind the machine.Turn on this buttonfor the daily use of the machine. And you need to turn off it when the machine is notbeen used for a long time or transported. Please be fouced that you should turn off thestandby power button normally before turning off the main power switch.

Equipment Operation Guidance

4.1 How To Use1) Preparation before starting: Check the air pressure, and the Digital display

barometer on the back of the machine, whose value should be about 600(450≤PA≤700). The water tank and oil tank must be filled with water and cutting oilrespectively

2)Turn on the machine: First,turn on the main power switch, and then press thestandby power swich.

3) The yellow light on the upper left of the ORIGIN button of the operatinghandle lights up: The machine will automatically return to the origin, and theyellow light on ORIGIN will light up at this time.

4) Place the tool: Place the tool according to the number marked on the toollibrary,

5) Reconfirm that the tools are placed correctly.6) Confirm that there are no other residues in the working cabin.7) Load the machinable material.8) Transfer the file and start processing .Press [FILE] to call the processing


file, press [RUN] to start processing.

4.2 Precautions

1) During processing, press [STOP] to pause processing, and press [RUN] tocontinue .2) After the processing is completed, the machine will return to the origin again, andthen you can remove the machinable material.3) Clean regularly and change the cutting fluid regularly. After the machine is usedevery day, please pour out the dirty cutting fluid in the water tank and oil tank, andfill it with clean cutting fluid before next use. After cleaning, press the standbypower button to turn off the power. If the machine is not used for a long time, pleaseturn off the main power switch on the back of the machine.4) Regular maintenance (according to actual usage) to reduce machine failures andprolong machine life. Regularly clean up internal residues, especially residues onscrew/guide rails, and apply lubricating oil after cleaning.

4.3 Solution After An Alarm Occurs

1) The warning message show Please check the water level of the water tank toensure that the spindle is cooled wellAlarm reason: Just remind the operator to regularly check and add cooling water andcutting fluid, it does not mean that the cooling water and cutting fluid are not enoughSolution: Press ESC to turn off the Prompt Box, check and add cooling water andcutting fluid, then you can use the machine normally

2）The warning message show Tool setter alarmAlarm reason: The spindle clamps the bur in the wrong position，Make the bur toolong, thereby excessively compressing the tool setterSolution: Turn off the machine to raise the spindle manually, then turn on themachine to remove the tool or replace the tool setter

3）The warning message show The current tool number is not 0Alarm reason: There is a tool on the spindle, the machine must have no tool to startrunningSolution:Remove the tool on the spindle and change the current tool number on thesecond page to 0

4）The warning message show Unsuccessful tool changeAlarm reason: Automatic tool clamping fails;Solution:Check whether the machine loosen chuck, bur knife ring is in place, themagazine is damaged.


5）The warning message show Unsuccessful tool returnAlarm reason:Automatic tool return fails;

Solution:Check whether the machine loosen chuck, bur knife ring is in place, themagazine is damaged.

6）The warning message show No tool on the spindleAlarm reason:When starting processing, the tool setter does not sense the signalSolution:Check whether the machine loosen chuck, bur knife ring is in place, themagazine is damaged.

7）The warning message show Inverter alarmAlarm reason:Spindle or spindle damage to wires or damage the drive parametererror or damage the driveSolution:Check out the corresponding reason, replace accessories or reset inverterparameters

8）The warning message show x, y, z, a, b servo motor alarmAlarm reason:Servo motor damage or damage to the wire or damage the servo driverSolution:Check out the corresponding reason and replace the accessories

9）The warning message show Broken knife or excessive knife damageAlarm reason:The tool on the spindle is broken or the tool is severely worn or thetool setter is damagedSolution:Replace with a new tool, if the same Prompt Box is still displayed, you needto replace the tool setter

10）The warning message show No tool on the spindleAlarm reason:There is no tool on the spindle during tool setting Measure the tooldamage before returning the tool, the tool has been broken;Solution:Replace with a new tool and rework.

11）The warning message show Low air pressure alarmAlarm reason:The air pressure is lower than 450Solution:Turn off the prompt after ensuring that the air pressure is normal

4.4 Accuracy Calibration Method

1）Import the calibration file "Calibration S505" to the machine；


2）Install the special bur for calibration (Press and hold the clamp button toloosen the spindle chuck)；

3）Manual tool setting (Quickly press the number keys 0 and 2 once)；


4）Click RUN to run；5) After processing, measure the cutting block with a vernier caliper；

6）Fill in the measured data into the calibration column at the bottom of the secondpage of the control panel；


7）After filling in, click the OK button to complete the automatic calibration, andfinally manually remove the calibration bur。
