Duration: 3 hours Meal: NIL SIC Frequency: Twice Daily Departure Time: 0900 Description: Meet your guide at the hotel lobby and proceed for a Kota Kinabalu City with a visit to the Filipino Market The first stop is the Tun Mustapha Tower – a magnificent building with its reflective glass panel which stands 30-storeys high in the Likas Bay area and is recognized as Sabahs most prominent landmark. It has a central core with steel brackets supporting each floor. This is one of the few hanging structure type of building in the world. A visit to Tun Mustapha will also culminate with a s visit to Tun Mustapha gallery. Next, we will then go to Kota Kinabalu City Mosque for a photo-stop. This mosque is a contemporary design of Islamic architecture. It was built in 1997 on an area of 2.47 acres at Likas Bay. The prayer floor can accommodate up to 12,000 people at one time and houses three madrasahs – Islamic Schools, in the compound. The gold inlaid onion dome is the largest dome of its type in Malaysia. Our next stop is the Chinese Buddhist Temple, which was built in 1980. The temple stands out with its traditional Chinese roofing and structure. There are ten large statues of deities that adorn the temple. The Goddess of Mercy, Kwan Yin, stands tall at the main entrance of the temple and welcomes and blesses all those who visit the temple. Proceed to the Sabah State Museum, where we will be able to go to various galleries that houses Natural History, Ceramic, Ethnography and Archaeology exhibits, among others. This is one of the best single platforms to get to know about the history and people of Sabah and Borneo. Our last stop will be a brief shopping at the local handicraft bazaar for handicraft and essential items that the locals consume. Then, we will head back to your hotel.

This journey will take an approximately 2 hours. We will be passing by villages, paddy fields along mountainous roads that wind along the Crocker range – the world’s youngest non-volcanic mountain. We will be making a brief stop at Nabalu Market where they have a collection of native stalls selling fruits, local produces and local handicrafts. Here, you will be able to practise your bargaining skills. After, we will then proceed to Kinabalu Park and our first stop is the exhibition hall where we will be able to get to know more about Malaysia’s first world heritage site – Kinabalu Park. Take a walk to the mountain garden and witness the bio-diversity of flora and fauna of Kinabalu Park. Kinabalu Park boasts an estimated 6000 species of vascular plants which includes 1500 species of orchids, 77 of which are endemic to Kinabalu Park. The park has also recorded 326 species of birds and 290 different types of butterflies. Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant. After lunch, we will proceed to the Poring Hot Spring, which is 47km away from Kinabalu Park. We will go for a jungle walk to the canopy walkway where you may be thrill your weak heart, as the walkway is 30 metres high above the ground. This walk may make you a little tired and sore your muscles. After the walk, you will have the opportunity to soak yourself into the sulphurous spring to stimulate your tired body. After the visit to the Poring hot Spring, depart back to your hotel in Kota Kinabalu

This boat ride will take an approximately 15 – 20 minutes. Upon arriving at Sapi Island, you are free to swim or snorkel or enjoy the beach soaking the tropical sun. There are also trails where you may opt for a short nature walk. Other optional activities are also available in the island. A sumptuous lunch will be served by the beach. Village which is located approximately 25 minutes from Kota Kinabalu City. This journey will take you to long roads surrounded by a rich spectrum of greenery and overarched by the wild blue skies. In the village, the colours of cultural diversity are not an issue but rather their pride. Here, you may savour the soul of Sabah.

Upon arrival at Mari-Mari Cultural Village, you will be briefed on the village rules, the dos and don’ts of the village. As you enter through the suspension bridge, you will be fascinated with the sight of a river flowing. Then, visit the 5 traditional hourse – the Dusun house, Rungus Longhouse, Lundayeh house, Bajau hour and Murut longhouse. Here, you will experience traditional methods such as tobacco cutting, rice wine processing, starting a fire without matches or lighters, the multipurpose of tree barks and tattooing. You may also get a temporary body tattoo the ancient way, if you wish. Then, proceed for a cultural performance before your lunch.

After lunch, it is time to bid farewell to the villagers and hear towards the Southwestern part of Sabah, which is approximately 2 ½ hours journey. Upon arrival, coffee, tea and local cakes will be served. Then, go onboard a comfortable fiberglass boat for an hour and 45 minutes in search of wildlife along the riverbanks. Dinner will be served among the glittering lanterns that light up the area. After dinner, catch your glimpses of fireflies slowly lighting up and decorating the mangrove trees (if weather permits). Along the way back to your vehicle, you will be accompanied by crickets happily singing to wish you safely home. Transfer back to your accommodation.

Description: Meet your guide and proceed to Kota Klias. This journey will take an approximately 2 hours. You will be driving along scenic and picturesque villages, paddy fields and small towns. Upon arrival at Kota Klias jetty, light refreshments will be served. Then, we will proceed on with the river cruise in search of wildlife such as the Proboscis Monkeys, different species of birds, Monitor lizards, Bornean bats and crocodiles. When dusk sets in, witness nature’s display of Christmas lights – the fireflies. After the river cruise, Traditional Malay Dinner will be served. Description: Meet your guide at the hotel lobby and depart for Kiulu River, which is located in the Tamparuli District. This journey will take an approximately 1 ½ hours and we will be passing through the countryside and this offers a view of paddy fields and villages. Upon arrival at Kiulu River, we will be briefed on the river, various rapids, and safety procedures by the River Guide. After the briefing, all rafters will then put on their rafting gears – life jackets, helmets and collect their paddles. At approximately 1045hrs, we will start rafting down 9km of Kiulu River. Enjoy the exhilarating ride down the White rapids and get to know the various points like Body Rafting, The Wall Rapid, and Holy Smoke Rapid until the ending point. Upon arrival at the ending point, change into dry clothes and enjoy a sumptuous barbeque lunch by Kiulu River. We will depart for Kota Kinabalu after lunch

called Beaufort in the interior district. This journey will pass through the countryside where you can view paddy fields and villages.

We will arrive in Beaufort at approximately 0930hrs. Upon arrival, take an opportunity to walk around the town and observe the small town activities here. At 1000hrs, board a train to the starting point of Pangi, the train ride will traverse the Padas Gorge and it offers a view of the villages and the Padas River. We will arrive in Pangi at approximately 1130hrs, and upon arrival, we will be briefed on the river, the various rapids and safety procedures by the River Guide. After the briefing, all rafters will the put on their gears – lifejackets & helmets and collect their paddles.

At 1145hrs, we will start rafting down Padas River. Enjoy the exhilarating ride down the rapids and get to know the various points like Head Hunter Point, Scooby Doo Point and Cobra Point, Lambada Point until the ending point. We will arrive at the ending point at approximately 1245hrs. Upon arrival, change into dry clothes and enjoy a sumptuous barbeque lunch by the Padas River. We will head back for Beaufort at 1530hrs and then depart back for your hotel in Kota Kinabalu City.

in the Tamparuli District. This journey will take an approximately 1 ½ hours and we will be passing through the countryside and this offers a view of paddy fields and villages.

Upon arrival at Kiulu River, we will be briefed on the river, various rapids, and safety procedures by the River Guide. After the briefing, all rafters will then put on their rafting gears – life jackets, helmets and collect their paddles.

At approximately 1045hrs, we will start rafting down 9km of Kiulu River. Enjoy the exhilarating ride down the White rapids and get to know the various points like Body Rafting, The Wall Rapid, and Holy Smoke Rapid until the ending point.

Full Day Sea Kayaking at Tunku Abdul Rahman Park | Tour Description: Meet your guide and transfer to Tanjung Aru Beach, which is the starting point. Upon arrival, a safety briefing will be given followed by an equipment inspection. This adventure explores Tunku Abdul Rahman Park which consists of 5 beautiful islands that are well-known for its shallow water and all boast splendid white sandy beaches. At about 0800hrs, start paddling towards Mamutik Island, one of the best diving spots in Tunku Abdul Rahman Park. The next stop is Sulug Island, this less developed island is rocky, but it has a nice shoreline of sandy beach where you may discover a lot of seashells and coral on the beach. Upon arrival, light refreshment will be provided. Continue paddling to Manukan Island Resort. Manukan Island has one of the best facilities and accommodation and also one of the best islands to enjoy sunlight, beach, water sports and to get close to nature. Description: Meet your guide at the hotel lobby and proceed for your Kinabalu Park & Poring Hot Spring Excursion. This journey will take an approximately 2 hours. We will be passing by villages, paddy fields along mountainous roads that wind along the Crocker range – the world’s youngest non-volcanic mountain. We will be making a brief stop at Nabalu Market where they have a collection of native stalls selling fruits, local produces and local handicrafts. Here, you will be able to practise your bargaining skills. After, we will then proceed to Kinabalu Park and our first stop is the exhibition hall where we will be able to get to know more about Malaysia’s first world heritage site – Kinabalu Park. Take a walk to the mountain garden and witness the bio-diversity of flora and fauna of Kinabalu Park. Kinabalu Park boasts an estimated 6000 species of vascular plants which includes 1500 species of orchids, 77 of which are endemic to Kinabalu Park. The park has also recorded 326 species of birds and 290 different types of butterflies. Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant. After lunch, we will proceed to the Poring Hot Spring, which is 47km away from Kinabalu Park. We will go for a jungle walk to the canopy walkway where you may be thrill your weak heart, as the walkway is 30 metres high above the ground. This walk may make you a little tired and sore your muscles. After the walk, you will have the opportunity to soak yourself into the sulphurous spring to stimulate your tired body. • In the afternoon, we will go for an afternoon trek. This afternoon is an introduction to the forest through the ‘Nature Trails’ and tree-top ‘Canopy Walkway’ which is 300m in length and is 26m high at the highest point. This will give you a close-up observation of the rainforest.

• In the evening, we will have dinner at the Lodge. After dinner, we will go for a night drive in an open-top vehicle in search of nocturnal animals.

Day 01 – Arrival in Lahad Datu / Tabin Wildlife Reserve / Lipad Mud Volcano (-/L/D) • Meet and greet upon arrival at Lahad Datu Airport (preferred flight:

MH 3010) • Then proceed by road to Tabin Wildlife reserve. This journey will

take an approximately 1 ½ hours. Upon arrival, we will check into the timber lodge at Tabin Wildlife Resort. The resort is nestled within the rainforest beside the Lipad River; this lovely setting is home to a surprising variety of birds, insects and small mammals. They can be found right next to the resort. Discover the rich variety to jungle herbs, some endemic, used for generations by the local folks for the treatment of various ailments.

• In the afternoon, we will visit the Lipad mud volcano. This provides a mineral salt lick for the wildlife here. After trekking through the rainforest for about 20 minutes, we will arrive at the elevated bare area of the mud volcano which is frequented by wildlife and birds. Here, you may try to identify the multitude of animal footprints seen. Then, we will climb the observation tower and admire the contrasting landscape of the bare mud volcano and its surrounding thick forest, where birds are frequently sighted.

• After dinner, enjoy a slide presentation on the Tabin’s natural wonders. Then we will take a short trip to look out for nocturnal wildlife and birds. During this time, you may also look up at the clear, dark sky of Tabin and identify the constellations above you.

• Overnight will be spent at the Tabin Wildlife Lodge. Day 02 – Bird Walk / Lipad Waterfall (B/L/D) • Breakfast will be served at the lodge. • In the morning, you may join the early morning bird walk to

discover some of Tabin’s rich collection of almost 300 bird species. • After breakfast, trek though the lush green rainforest, known for its

rich diversity of plants and animal species and visit Lipad Waterfall. Here, you may take a dip in the natural pool and enjoy the natural refreshing shower under the waterfall. Alternatively, you may explore the surrounding vegetation or just relax.

• In the afternoon, you may wish to try the Tabin Rainforest Foot Soak made with a natural blend of herbs, to relax the tired muscles after the long jungle treks.

• Overnight will be spent at the Tabin Wildlife Lodge.

Day 03 – Depart Lahad Datu (B/-/-) • Breakfast at the lodge. • After breakfast, stroll to the nearby rock pool or river side where

several groups of macaques and other small mammals can sometimes be seen. You may take a dip in the river or simply listen & relax to the sounds of nature.

• Proceed to depart for Lahad Datu Airport for your flight out.
