I am grate-

work that
was done
in the
sanctuary
area cov-
ering the fluorescent lights so that it becomes
aesthetically good. The work was completed by
Jun Roallos and Dennis Roallos this past
week.
Thank you Roallos brothers for your generosity
of time and talent! Blessings.
Thanks also to James Fowlie who reported
about the break-in in the foyer of the church ear-
lier this week. And to Ed Zastre for putting a
temporary window.
I am also grateful for the new confessional
booth (movable) made by Frank and Albertina
Mendonca. It was a project we have undertak-
en for the past two weeks and now it is finished
and ready for use.
Thank you Frank and Albertina for your gener-
osity of time and talent! Blessings.
On Monday, July 27, there
was a break-in and theft that
happened in the church. The
suspect broke one of the
glass windows in the foy-
er. He managed to get inside the actual body of the
church through the choir loft. Someone was arrested
by the RCMP after couple of hours and the laptop
that was stolen was recovered. The suspect stole
the small crucifix by the confessional and the large
rosary by the image of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
If you happen to be passing by the church at any
hour during the day or night, please report any
suspicious activity that you will see. Let's pro-
tect our church by being vigilant to any suspi-
cious person or group of persons hanging out
within the church and school areas.
As a precaution, the church will be opened half
hour before daily Mass and Sunday Masses. This
is to ensure that there are at least two or three peo-
ple inside the church before the celebration of the
Liturgy.
